it is a bit brrr, Brenda. But I do love getting all snuggly under the blankets at night when it is cold.

glad to see that you haven't melted, Michael :)
35? that is mad. I would just want to hibernate all summer and regain consciousness in Fall
I think i am lucky where i live....It was cool enough without being worried about the heat n i was out to the hospital twice.I only got stuffy when driving back and fort from the hospital and education point...
At 5am it is 27C in my kitchen so probably at least 29+ upstairs in the bedroom, I've been awake on and off for ages...too hot. Had to give the aircon a break overnight but..... I gave up and came down to put the fan on and would you believe it has just started raining!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yes we are starting the day here at 27 degrees inside and out. I took the dog for a walk at 5.00am! There is a magnificent sunrise right now though:)
Another day covered in smoke down here in Tassie & this is why. Thankfully none of the fires are at an Emergency (Red) level or even the next level down (yellow) but there is just so many of them

Gosh, Zoey, that is just so many. Hope all is safe in Tassie and the fires are controlled very quickly.

We were 27 at its lowest all night! What a dreadful night for sleeping! Supposed to be 39 today but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go higher :(

It's starting to feel stuffy in the house already! Going to the shops for lunch with girlfriends and using a/c that's not mine own :p

Stay safe Zoey. Expected to be 37 here today. And we haven't even got to February which is usually the hottest month.

Wow - you're getting into Darwin weather there - that's our normal overnight temperature
It's horrible Sally - and today has been ghastly! A blanket thrown over you every time you venture outside...totally unbearable!
To tell you the truth I don't care. It is just so nice to be cool again. And everything smells fresh. I bet the garden is loving it too.

Sigh ... bills, they just have to go ruin all the fun :p

Was up to 36 today now down to 23. But it's very humid so I still have the aircon on.I find I need coolness to write. Otherwise my thinking is sluggish.
Well if I went to visit Australia would that classify as coolness :p.
I kid, I kid ...

Brenda wrote: "It's horrible Sally - and today has been ghastly! A blanket thrown over you every time you venture outside...totally unbearable!"Yep that sounds like Darwin weather - now image 5-6 months of that!!
I couldn't! It's been storming for a little while here - air con is still on - I just went outside and the blanket is still here!
Humidity must be on the menu today as it felt quite humid down here but was still only 25C. Very off for this area to have humidity.

the cord was on the chair...so i really didnt think she'd be able to reach it being only a teacup maltese x yorkie (so not very big at all). But nope...i was wrong...somebody would think she didnt have enough toys to play with or something...but of course the power cord is just more entertaining to play with...oh wells not much can do about it now!

@Kristen, you might be able to find a second hand cable from somewhere. You are lucky your Puppy wasn't electrocuted, those leads are very tempting to them.
@julie, thanks....I had a quick look on eBay...but they weren't selling the exact right one that would b compatible for my computer, unfortunately...I ended up finding out that the apple power adapters are also sold at JB-HI-FI - so I ended up using a gift card I got for Xmas...not exactly wat I had planned initially...but can't always b picky! :) hopefully doesn't take too long to get here though...bc my computers battery is dying fast :( everything just going terribly wrong today...least the day is nearly over! :)

@julie, hahaha true although she kinda sulking ATM lol...whoever says that puppies don't have personalities or don't hold grudges lies lols...I'm kinda over it...but she's not...all I did was say no and a small smack...but it's like she thinks I was being mean haha...ohh well I'll just force her to cuddle me maybe then she'll get over it lols
Umm not that I can think of...oh well I can do most stuff on my phone anyways...it's just easier on a bigger screen.
