@Rita - We talked about S.Korea and Japan. She has already been to Japan years ago (HS thing)...I always wanted to go but never have...She has a friend in S.Korea too. She talked about other areas of Asia..I'd be all game...But those two places I'd like to see the most and she seems most keen on. She did go to China years ago but not so interested in there again.
Where would you guys go once the littles grow up?

Ohhhh Disneyland...I never thought of that until now. That would be GREAT place to take kids!!
Apparently S.Korea is cheap to eat for meals...So I think if we spent on accom more it would even itself out.
I'd like to go to China but like for the historical point and also just to see it like outta China...not so much the tourist stuff...I dunno...Still not as important but appealing too.
What did you like about China the most?

Congratulations Brenda, well done! You are going to be really busy now! :)
Thanks guys:) I don't think it'll make me extra busy as I'm able to copy and paste my existing reviews at this stage. We will see how it goes...early days!

That's great - hope you have a lot of fun reaching more people than ever!

I did try that, and then thought that mustn't have been what it meant as it wanted me to open a Wordpress account... I'll try it again - maybe I should have continued on...

I think I did it, but I had to use my work address because I'd created an account with that to investigate a website. When I tried to do it with my personal email address, it wanted me to create a domain name or something... I'd rather have it coming to my personal email address, but don't want to create a Wordpress website just for that!

I think it would be more user friendly if it had an email subscription box like a lot of other blogs have, where people just type in their email address and click subscribe. Just a thought...
I've emailed Helen with that suggestion already Kathryn - I hope she'll let me know it's in the works:) I'll get back to you! We don't want to make it too hard for people...and there are a large number who aren't of FB or Twitter. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions...

Excellent! I would definitely prefer subscribing that way :-)

My b-i-l picked up and installed my new tv for me. Yippee, everyone is back to normal color now.

Thanks Brenda. I've also watched the complete second season of The 100. Definitely a silver lining LOL

That hasn't happened where I live for years but yes the heat of the drier kills them. When my children were babies we even ironed their nappies to make sure. That makes me sound REALLY old. No one even knows what a cloth nappy is any more.

Excellent! Thanks, Brenda!

You walk out of the air-conditioned house/workplace/shops and it is like walking into a hot wall of air - it is horrible!!

I do hope you plan to do a lot of reading Michael :)
Nothing does R&R like reading

Sounds like a good plan Michael! I think everyone gets a bit tired and stressed this time of year. A break is a good idea :)

But what are the little black dots??"
They are called thrips I think. And they are affected by the weather. They like white things - flowers, washing etc
