Neko Well I found a work around for my problem with MyGov besides having to resign up. It's not a fool proof plan but it worked for me. If you allow the site to send u a code to your phone then all you need is that n your password! You don't need to enter in silly secret question answers!! Plus I'll instantly know if someone tries any funny business w/my account because I'll get the phone notification. Still...What a pita of a site :|

Neko Welcome back Leonie :) That's great Apple will do that...But yes when you go offline for a little while through choice or otherwise my how everything stacks up quickly :o

It's taken me about three days! I finally finished this afternoon. Fortunately I back up regularly, so I'd saved all of my writing stuff, except for about 2000 words that I'd written the day it crashed.

And have fun at the wedding, Kristen!

Jülie ☼♄  (jlie) | 6581 comments Thanks folks :) we are having a real great time, loads to see and do. Today had an element of great sadness though as we visited Choeung Ek Memorial (The Killing Field) in southwest of Phnom Penh to pay our respects, very sad but (to my mind) necessary to see some of the real and lasting effects of that shocking war.
Also visited markets and had a very "exciting" 30km round trip tuk-tuk ride! (((\(@v@)/))) Lol!!! Good times ;)

Ace (aceonroam) Sounds really good Julie, been meaning to get to Cambodia for a while now. Did you really stay at 'Best exotic marigold' or was it a lookalike?

Lol, no it's just a very good lookalike Ace ;) The Best Exotic is in India. Though this one is very nice and just as "exotic" and accommodating :)
Fantastic markets here also...haven't come across a genuine bookshop yet though I believe there are two nearby...the markets sell everything from clothing and brica brac to bike parts and tools, even stationary.

Guys, this has just not been my week. I am currently adjusting to a new anxiety medication (the process generally has me a bit sideways for a couple of days). All the while I have a cold and fighting a roaring ear infection.

This post is just me feeling a bit sorry for myself :P

I'm so sorry you're feeling so awful. You're allowed to feel sorry for yourself. New medication is always difficult, but hopefully as you get used to it you'll start to feel the benefits. Of course the cold won't help. Perhaps you could take a little time to curl up with a book and a blanket, knowing that right now what you need it a bit of comfort. The rest of the world can wait.

Oh Melissa, so very sorry for what you are going through! Chin up and take care...

To cheer you up (I hope) - a couple of days ago we were having lunch at a club overlooking the ocean - kookaburras everywhere. One flew down into the open patio area and landed on a discarded plate. He wanted some left over chips. But all he pecked at was a slice of left over cut lemon!
Well - he didn't like it - shook his head, scraped his beak back and forth on the table - all of us watching were cracking up! He looked totally disgusted:) And very cute!
