My holiday is officially over on Sunday...Then we just have term 4 to go! Still feels strange having 4 terms instead of 3. No doubts it'll go mad quickly though.

sorry guys. I have been neglecting this group again. Currently. I find myself in battle with my anxiety again. it hasn't left a lot of time for reading and goodreads. I am frustrated.

That's no good Melissa. Hope it all settles down again soon.

I hope so too, Carolyn. It is incredibly exhausting.
Apparently today I am feeling like feeling very sorry for myself.

Pretty much Michael, I'm kind of marking time atm...a little bit sad because I shortly have to take my little doggy to her hotel accommodation and leave her ;( otherwise I am all set to go in the morn ;)

Certainly agree with you on that, Rita!

I feel like culling my 'to read' selection on here...I'm sure there is some books that can go..I'm feeling ruthless..lol
32/50 books read for the year....Only 6 books behind..haha...And seriously the months are closing down...I may just pull this off!!

My pooch actually seems to like going to our local kennels. He greets the kennel girls like long lost friends :)

Awe, well that is good though! When I used to own two cats they hated each other something terrible but a few times they had to stay at a cattery apparently they got along....Fickle creatures..lol

She didn't want to go with the nice young boy, she was shaking and I was a basket case afterwards!!! This is her first time away from home. I know she will be looked after but I will still miss her like crazy. At least she has her "cousin" to keep her company.

@Julie Have the bestest ever:D
@Laura Maybe I should try that with my two cats, one hates the other terribly. We used to put the dogs in kennels, but now I get a house-sitter (either my niece or someone else very trusted) so the pets routine is not upset.
Yesterday Mo and I were out walking and I saw two plovers, digging in someone's lawn. Thought instantly of the 'plover' sufferer in AR and all our suggestions. It made me smile.

Enjoy, take lots of piccies, clouds and all, see you at the end of Oct.

I realize Thanksgiving isn't much of a thing in Australia. Nevertheless, happy Canadian turkey day :)

Hunter loves going to see 'Uncle' Jason and the girls - they have known him since he was a baby puppy and attended their puppy classes - so is like a second home to him. They have a face book page and each week they take photo's of their current guests and post - is lovely when I'm away to check the page and see Hunter's happy face staring at me down the camera lens.
They also do an extra service where you can 'skype' your dog (or cat) at their exercise time - so you can watch it running around and talk to it. I personally think this is way over the top - but the kennels make quite a lot of money out of this service!!!

Safe trip my friend!

I agree, unbelievable!
Will have to suggest it to my sister for her cat, LOL!!

Btw, they do offer the skype service but I wouldn't want to distress her more by talking to her without her understanding what's going on. So we will trust to their care...
I know you hey will b well looked after.
Nigh night! :)

Lie in sounds good - sounds like a dream come true - never get to sleep in!

Do you know that dentists are the professional group that suffers from the most suicides? They think it is because of the relentless day after day of clients that fear/hate them.

Hope it went/ is going well. My sister has veneers and they look great.

Here's the link for anyone that might be interested. Might even meet some fellow Victorian AR there. :)

Thanks Elaine:) It's fine here but might get lost in the posts. If you'd like to post again (don't delete this one) in the Victorian thread that might get seen a little more:) I'd be there in a heartbeat if we were down there;)

I haven't heard of that condition Vivian...it certainly is great that she's raising awareness of it though..

We're on holidays again :D Nelson Bay for 3 days, then Diamond Beach for a week...only a 10 day holiday this time. But it should be fun! Though where we are currently staying is a bit (read very) dodgy!!! Thankfully it's only for 3 days!

Thanks Brenda. I wish you could be here too. I would love the company. Nothing better than browsing through lots of books with a fellow book lover. I didn't realise there was a Victorian page. I'll post it there too. Thanks again. :)

Enjoy your break Brenda. Even a few days away makes the world of difference. Define "dodgy"? Not in an unsafe way I hope? You always seem to have very eventful adventures when you go away. :)
