Poor you Kristen, what a bad time you are having. Do you know I think it is hard enough looking after yourself when you are sick, and then having friends and or family being mean. My only advice to you is look after you concentrate on you, I speak from experience having a son with a chronic condition. Ignore them all concentrate on you and your health!.

I'm not sure, Melissa. Buzzfeed forgot to add that it's legal to club baby seals after they are 12-14 days old. Nothing cute in that!

Sorry Melissa, I can get a bit outspoken about treatment of animals. Too much bad and not enough good. So many people prefer not to see because it upsets them, so they act like nothing is going on.

Okay, B, calm down, Rant over!

message 22672: by Neko (new)

Neko Has anyone had a problem with their kindle where you purchase the book but it stays queued? I'm currently experiencing this problem and I'd delete the book but it's also not showing up on the cloud so bit worried if i delete the queued book I'll maybe lose the purchase.

Laura, my only thought is to check your network connection. This happens to me from time to time and rebooting my router usually solves it.

I also had a problem with a kindle purchase this evening. Amazon sent a message to say there was a problem with the purchase and to contact them if the book wasn't delivered. So it must be Amazon having a problem.

Neko Ahhhh...i just went into purchases on amazon n it's not showing there....it's so strange how it knows I've purchased it when i directly look at the book but when searching my kindle purchases it has no idea! ¿_¿

message 22686: by B the BookAddict (new)

B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) @Laura I know nothing about kindles and Amazon but did the purchase go through? I recently spent four weeks waiting for a delivery from David Jones, only to realise when checking PayPal, that the purchase hadn't gone through. I hadn't 'checked' the final page. Embarrassment plus!

message 22687: by Carolyn (last edited Sep 20, 2015 02:29PM) (new)

Carolyn | 9868 comments My purchase didn't go through and I haven't been charged. Might try again in a day or two when they will have fixed the problem (hopefully!). I would contact them Laura, if it's showing up as purchased just to be sure.

message 22688: by Neko (new)

Neko I'm gathering the order went throught because I got an email to confirm the order w/an order number. But went I click through nothing shows in the recently purchased so I can't do a 'resend' to my Kindle.

I will check my actual card later to see if i was actually charged. Amazon rep wrote back to me abd said tgey were working on the issue sooo maybe when i get home from work there will hopefully be another email.

But some good suggestions again guys :)

message 22689: by Neko (new)

Neko Yaaaay! Just looked on Amazon itself and then checked tge Kindle...Purchase was no longer 'pending' and there was a copy waiting to be DLed when I switched it on :D

This makes up for my sleepy morning mistake of not putting the water temp on cool enough!

message 22692: by Neko (new)

Neko Brenda - Yep! Happy it was a quick resolve too :)

Faye - Ah, i only ever have about 50 books on the Kindle at a time but it was just Amazon having issues. But thanks for the suggestion :)

I might like one about oral sex. I must be dumb but fail to see the connection.
