Well, of course it is! I made it on Monday in the slow cooker. It was meant for tomorrow night. Now he will have to come up with something for then, seeing as I came to the rescue tonight.

well, he was very grateful that I had something in reserve. When I had bought the pumpkin and was making the soup he was whinging that he hates pumpkin, "pig food" was the exact term, I believe, but he said tonight that he had to admit is was very nice. Which is lucky, because there's more in the freezer, for us and for my Mum.

Thanks, Sally.
He definitely thinks that the world must/has to share is beliefs. Or else... Sounds like he's trying to sell a new religion/belief system or something. He's very self opinionated. I think he actually needs to go out into the real world and spend some time, not just in the rarified world of acting and his make-believe world of his characters. Get a job, pay some rent, struggle, be like real people!
We've woken to absolutely atrocious weather this morning! Cold, wet and totally miserable :( Anyone would think it's winter or something :/

Not raining here, so was able to get out for a walk. Grey and overcast but not overly cold on the South coast.Either that or I am just not feeling it.

How's your slow cooker going, Brenda? I just put a beef curry in mine and wondered whether you were enjoying yours. The last time I remember you mentioning it I thought you sounded a little undecided...

Still on the sidelines Kathryn..going to keep trying. My problem is a fussy husband! Did porcupine balls last and they were yummy, though next time I'll add more soup towards the end :)
All recipes gratefully accepted ;)

And that's very funny about the porcupines, Julie!!
Thanks Kathryn - yes you did, but that's OK...great to keep a record for all of us. Plus the experts can post their favourites:)

Experts?? I want to see your Porcupine recipe Brenda...for real! I reckon that would deserve a Michelin Star for technique alone ;)(I know about these things...I watch Masterchef!!)
LOL! I converted it from a casserole recipe I do often Jools. But I have to tinker with it - the "meatballs" were a little dry so that's why I think I have to save some soup to add near the end:)

It's locked for me Michael - looks like I have to sign up. It looks like it's about football - can you enlighten us?
I got the correct page Michael, but there's a padlock over the top of each page - the page is shaded so you can't read it. To unlock the pages to read it, I have to sign in...
if you click once on "letters" on the banner across the bottom 18-19, you can see the page but it's too small to read. Are you one of the pictures at the top of p19 , Michael?
His picture is second from the right Marianne, but I can't read it because of it being faded out...
OK then: 2nd from the right Michael? So your lips don't look anything like your avatar!!! I'm sooo disappointed!
