Welcome home Brenda. It has a been an eventful holiday for you but hopefully the good moments far outweigh the bad and as enjoyable a holiday is it's always nice coming home.Enjoy settling back in and planning your next adventure. Unlike Kathryn it does feel like a month as it was a while now that I met you and the other girls. Then again it's been a long month for me because of work and my boss being away on holidays.
My son is back home for a few days as we are celebrating Easter tomorrow and then we celebrate Mary's 21st on Monday so the whole family is reunited for a while which is nice.
Welcome home to our matriarch. You need a rest from your holiday.. What an adventure! Nice to come home to some books to take away from the washing etc etc ;)

Thanks Suzanne and Dale:) Just as well there are only 3 Dale, with 15 kindle ones waiting as well!
Went to a massive garage sale at a local school here yesterday, got loads of books, some where 10 cents each if you got them in bundles of 10, so it had to be done!

does anyone have a cat that enjoys lentils or is that just me? discovered last night he likes the brown but not the red ones.
My cats will eat nothing but dry cat food or tuna. I believe one of them eats cheese if he gets the chance. They'll turn their noses up at anything else.Lentils is an odd taste though - cats are obligate carnivores. Obviously that means they shouldn't eat dairy products either.
I've never tried them on lentils, but my cats are expert at picking peas and carrot bits out of any cat food that attempts to include veggies!
We have one who enjoys carbohydrates - like muffins or bread, cooling on the bench. I also had a cat obsessed with carrots years ago. So obsessed that he broke into my visiting Uncle's shopping (inside his car!) to steal his carrots out of the plastic bag.
lol!! I've had a carb cat as well but he loved freshly cooked sponge cake from the tin!Same one used to love popcorn (which i had to keep an eye on the bowl just incase) and loved veggies but not as obsessed..lol
My cat usually turns up her nose at anything but the best meat made for people...but if its not on offer and cat food is,suddenly she wants our corn chips/ bread rolls(took fresh buns from the table carrying them upstairs as a kitten). If there's no quality meat around she loves donuts, toffee, white chocolate, lollipops, strawberries more understandably cream, milk and cheese, eggs and even... buttered mushrooms. For the butter of course

My old cat used to love Twisties/Cheezels or anything similar. He wouldnt even wait to be offered, he would jump up on your lap & try & take them out of your hand or try & put his head in the packet & help himself :)

Too hot today! 31c and humid is not autumn IMO!! I feel the need to go back down south where the weather was much cooler;)
