Thanks Julie, yes softball but she's been injured, nothing serious but she hurt her pitching hand. She's had not a lot of game time. Trying to keep her confidence up as there's always going to be someone that's off a lot and unfortunately it's her. Teaches her resilience.. Also being a part of a state team competing in a national tournament is a great achievement for her. That's what we're focussing on. She's having fun and it's a mini holiday ;)

I ordered a new Apple 6 plus iPhone yesterday - won't get it for a few weeks - but the slightly bigger screen will make e-book reading easier at night. Although I am coping with the small screen very well :)

Yes, I spent a holiday in Coffs Harbour and enjoyed myself - although my abiding memory is that the back of my legs got quite badly burnt on the beach...oops! I wish more beaches had grassy areas with trees where you can lie in the shade and still see the water!

It was very nasty sunburn - the kind where the back of your knees just feels crinkly to begin with, followed by excruciatingly painful sunburn which eventually blisters and peels.

Can still remember it!
