Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
and
The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom
*if you don't already have it on your reading device, you must download the "Overdrive" App first....before attempting to download your books.
I'm in the middle of reading Code Name Verity just now and I think it would lend itself nicely to audio.

Thanks Brenda, it's from The Five Mile Press (www.fivemile.com.au) and it has 394 pages in total. This revised and reformatted edition published 2012. I will try to scan it again, it wouldn't work before.
Sorry for doing this here, should have been in the Librarians thread :~\

Julie already told me that was the total and I added it in, thanks Michael.

Oh haha! I've done that before - it's frustrating! Thanks anyway:)

What do you mean, 'in Alan Rickman's voice', did he narrate this? I love Rickman.

Oh my gosh Ashleigh, you sound just like my daughter quoting scenes from Harry Potter. She's a Harry Potter tragic!

I don't think so. I have just sent you a message and the little envelope at the top of your page should highlight.

It's been happening on and off for quite awhile Leonie. Since the big complete site crash which meant it was offline for 12-14 hours! They've had various issues with it since then, with it working then not, etc. It's different servers too...some people are swapping to GMail and finding it's working there...

I've been experiencing that, too, but on and off. That's why I wanted to be able to access my messages. In the recent past I have missed being notified about messages that were important.

Thanks Ashleigh, haven't seen the movie but do love Rickman.

I have always done it that way. The notification emails drive me nuts especially when there's s flurry of chit chat. So check the unread as soon as I pop in :)

LOL

I know how you feel Angela! I have two soccer playing sons so there has been a lot of early morning TV watching (2 am this morning!), even though they both have Uni exams this week!
I haven't been joining them but this morning was woken up early by the smell of post-game bacon being cooked at 4am.

Think I'll have to mirror Marianne and start getting some reading done instead :)

Sounds lovely Sally:) I'm so glad your daughter is OK - cars can be replaced! Isn't it funny how siblings can be so incredibly different!

And Yes we were very lucky we didn't lose her - the funeral of the man who was killed is coming up but the investigations are still ongoing and no charges have been laid against the man who jumped the red light.
I wonder why? He quite obviously did the wrong thing with terrible consequences. I hope your daughter is OK within herself; is she seeing a counsellor?

Glad to hear she is okay Sally and two young ones sound so cute. Love how kids from same family turn out so different.
The majesty of the white whale Migaloo as he makes his way north past our shores once again:)
