I saw that Mon and was going to say that it was similar to Sharon's novel, Dale! Until I got distracted and forgot I hadn't done it! I loved it too!

That's interesting news, Sally, about Judi Dench needing her lines read to her - that would be more time-consuming, I would imagine to learn - I learn best by reading, not hearing. But maybe after years of acting, Judi is skilled enough to learn lines however she gets them.

And I've never seen a Pierce Brosnan 007 movie, Liam. Actually, I've never seen any 007 movies. Or should I not be admitting to that…? Judi Dench is almost enough to tip the scales in favour of watching, but not quite!

If you like Brosnan check out Noble House set in the 70's in Hong Kong - it was a series, but I think is now available as a DVD. Having read the book he fitted my image of the main character.

That one is next on my list fairly new I think, bit of a queue at the Library, but have reserved it. Will let you know. I think I am actually enjoying her more than Jodi Picoult - maybe because I have read most of her books.

Is anyone else procrastinating this afternoon?? I have 4 letters to write to GPs and REALLY don't want to start. But nor do I want them hanging over my head all weekend - and leaving them til Mon won't make them easier to write!

But is anyone doing anything fun and exciting with their afternoon? Or this morning (because if you are doing anything fun and exciting you probably won't be on GR until later)? Any adventures I can live vicariously?!

I've just come inside after chasing the neighbours dog who was running loose for the sixth time this week. How this dog is still alive I'm not sure as earlier on this week when it got out it came close to getting hit by a car. The same thing happened today only I thought it had as the driver of the slammed his breaks on and smoke from his tyres was everywhere and I couldn't see the dog, but thankfully it had run onto the nature strip. The driver of the car got out and started abusing me about letting my dog run in the middle of the road, but he soon apologised when I told him it wasn't my dog. Took the dog back to owners and I didn't evens get a thank you.The dog went inside and the owner closed the door on me. So now I'm all hot and bothered and very tempted to ring the council, but I know the dog is old and there is two children in that house so for their sake I can't. Hope it doesn't get out again.
Sorry for the rant, but irresponsible dog owners really annoy me. Time for a cup of tea :)

Call the council. Seriously. I don't care if they have kids or if the dog is old, it is clearly not being looked after or kept safe. One of these days you aren't going to be around to save it and it is going to get hit by a car.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to have animals.
