Good on you Liam. Enjoy studying :) When do you start?

Excellent. The world needs more librarians!!There was a time when I thought of doing that myself...

Well technically I still won't be one - to be a librarian you have to go through the Uni librarianship course. I'll just be what I am now, only I'll have qualifications.

January 28, two days after my birthday :P

The medical fraternity says that hayfever hasn't been so bad this spring!!!
Obviously they didn't check with you and I, Liam:(

Wow they (photo's) are beautiful. But fancy that, taking all these beautiful photo's and she has not developed them or seen them while she was alive.

Had a really great time! :) I hope you all have a great weekend.. :D

Incredible and intriguing images from an enigmatic photographer. Thanks for sharing, Michael.

Very spoilt by the sound of it. And why not? :)

Exactly! Why Not? Indeed.. hehehe. I had a terrific day. <3 Very blessed.

And they offer a free service where their customer tech comes to your house to set the internet up for you!
I'm pleased about that; just been through a should-have-been-painless but became a two month long painful process of swapping to a new laptop with a new operating system. To be safe, I got in an IT guy but he proved to be the worst IT person in the universe! I've become a little operating system/carrier shy, read that as nervous/just want to touch my laptop purely for fun stuff so I'm glad for Telstra's free service.

Oh:( The deed is done now. I'm contracted for 12 months.
I've had Optus but here in south-west Victoria, they do admit they only have 80% proper coverage; trying to connect some days is murder and worse if there's a high wind for some reason. It has the habit of dropping out at crucial moments too.

Vicki, I had humongous phone bills, I call lots of people in Melbourne, SE NSW coast, QLD and USA on my landline and mobile. It's nothing for me to be on the phone for over an hour each time and the cost was starting to be ridiculous. This is what happens when you pack up and move down the coast - bigger phone bills. So it would have been silly not to try this new bundle.

*We only keep the landline because we're in a bushfire-prone area.
I keep a landline because I run a business from home. I find mobile reception a bit too erratic.

My combined phone/internet bills were around $260 per month so this will be a real saving for me.

Good luck, Ashleigh. I admire anyone who can do NaNoWriMo. :)

Congrats, Jess! Welcome to the real world :P
I'm organising and GMing my first game of Pathfinder on the weekend. Nerdism ahoy!

You must be feeling very free, Jess - no timetables, assignments hanging over you, no new school class in the new year!! Although obviously the next step will be something new, I suppose - whether it's further study or work...

This guy was incredible; funnily I was surprised he was 71! I think he should have got more recognition that he did. A shame for him.

I'm not really a movie buff Liam but I'm very keen to see Gravity. It looks great.
