And I have to say, I didn't realise how often I used GR, or how much I relied on it, until I couldn't access it anymore...Quite an eye opener! :)

Michael, I can completely understand where you're coming from :) I'm actually contemplating getting a new phone, one where I can access GR and facebook, etc, on it. The mobile I have right now doesn't have internet capabilities, which is bad enough, but now the letter 'A' doesn't work. So when I've sent someone a text I get a confused message back saying, in essence, 'WTF'? lol

Definitely time for a new phone! :)

Don't you love it when an item you aren't happy with (for reasons that don't really justify buying a new item) then develops a problem that DOES justify buying a new item!!! Not so good when it's the other way around - when something you love and don't want to
replace dies!

And I am also a little bit addicted to Goodreads!! Don't know how I coped without it, or how you managed for about 4 months, Amber! Did you keep track manually of what you were reading?

lol yeah, I'm sort of half and half with my phone. It's been good for a few years - apart from no internet access! - but now that letters are starting to 'vanish' it's very frustrating. Especially when the letter that's going is one of the most commonly used!

I didn't make a list of books read or anything - I'm going to have to sort through my newest bookshelves and get names and titles lol and because I couldn't get on here to do anything, I pretty much just read and read and read... So when I've made my list there will be a fairly large update on my Read list :)

I'm so glad to be back on here now, though, that everyone will be sick of seeing my name pop up VERY quickly :)

Brief update on the party [which was packed - I DO NOT know how my sister does it and make it look effortless]. Apart from the wonderful feeling of introducing Robbie - 'Hi, have you met my husband Robbie yet?' - which gave me a huge buzz it was just lovely catching up with everyone. The food was delicious, the company and conversation fantastic and yes, I got many, many compliments on my eyelashes - I even had a few people say they didn't realise how long my lashes were but, of course, I had to 'fess up to cosmetic enhancement :)

Congrats on the book Amber - I'll have to check it out.

I hate this time of the year - car rego's due, plus hugely out of control electricity bill and the two kittens are due now for their needles, plus desexing and microchipping etc. It's so much fun watching my bank balance dwindle down to nothing :)

And I know how you feel - last year I had just finished paying the car off in time to start Christmas shopping; then - a week before Christmas - had to take it to the mechanic. Early January, it was back at the mechanic. $800 later (on top of all the other usual expenses)...it's such a joy spending money I don't have! lol

Happy Easter Everyone. As I am Greek Orthodox we do not celebrate Easter this year until May. Try explaining that to an 8 year old!!!! So we end up celebrating two Easters...when they don't coincide. On the up side it's my birthday tomorrow so we'll be celebrating anyway. Although I'm not happy turning 45, it'll put me in a totally different age bracket now when I do surveys!!!
