"Edwin?" Nat frowned. She took in a breath and shook her head. "Naw. Maybe if it was the day after that, but not after what had happend." Nat denied it, and she believed in what she said.
((Sorta.))
"Eh.." Nat trailed. "I guess you could say- can say we're together. It was never official, I think. Just he kissed me once and we hung out. Yeah." She said, and shuddered as images came back to her.

"Well I walked into the Strawberry Fields," She started, and her eyes flicked to his momentarily. If someone was paying attention to her they'd realize how much pain she really was in, her eyes were full of regret and hopelessness. She'd been feeling that way a lot lately. "and I saw him...kissing Cora." She felt herself choke suddenly on her words, she hated how bad it made him look. "I ran, faster then I've ever ran before." She shook her head, not caring that she was telling a story she didn't tell anyone but Jack to a complete stranger. "Obviously he ran after me, it wasn't his fault. I ran to the grotto, letting the crashing waves welcome me. Somehow in the end I was a mess, and he walked away. I didn't forgive him, but I didn't tell him I was done. I needed to think. And he got strangled." Nat finished, her voice had lowered to a little louder than a whisper. "It's my fault."
Cassidy stared down at the painted picture of a flower. Odette Roux. She remembered most names along with faces of she saw them enough times. Like in kjndergarten when she memorized the alphabet by listening. Sighing, Cassidy glanced down the hall with her hands soved in her pockets.
((SOrry! I didnt know that you had posted.))
Acton was at the begining of the hall, looking at the pictures with a sad look on his face. He had never hated his father more.

Acton look at the burnt shrouds, the pictures and his expression saddened. These heroes had gone down to visit his father-- for eternal.
Cassidy glanced down the hall, noticing another figure. She debated whether or not she wants to greet him, but in the end, called out a faint greeting.
Acton looked up th hall, surprised to see another living thing. "Hey," he said, but with fear that she hadn't heard him. "Hey," he said again, this time louder.
Acton smiled, the first real smile since he had entered the hall and made his way towards Cassidy.
Under normal circumstances, Cassidy much have smiled back. Though here, she was far from normal. The entire hall brought out the depression she'd been fighting so hard to subdue. "What are you doing here?" she asked quietly, tone holding no aggression.
"I have my reasons," Acton replied cooly. "If you really <>must know, I'm remembering, naturally."
"It was just a question," Cassidy sighed. Apparently, you can't ask a question without people becoming pissed.
"It was just an answer," Acton replied.
Acton didn't reply, but instead he looked at the displays,

Acton pressed his lips together.
Acton nodded. "Where they go is close to home."
Acton closed his eyes. "But they usually do," he said softly.

"Each time it brings more grief," Cassidy murmured.
"Each time it brings more grief," Cassidy murmured.
"We ought to be getting used to it," Acton said more to himself then to Cassidy. "But it's hard to get through loss of family."
Meh, Acton thought. Same difference. "And sometimes, those who suffer go to join there lost ones.
Of course, those loved ones that we've lost never truly leave us. We find them inside of us."
((ACTON'S QUOTING DUMBLEDORE!))

"But those who leave us, who reside in our hearts, are the cause of days, sometimes weeks, of grief. And that grief never truly goes away," Cassidy muttered.
"Unless you join 'em," Acton said thoughtfully. "In that case, a new cycle would start."
"Poor dad," Acton said with a sad smile.
"He must be tired... imagine! Having only the ead as company..."
