One of the things about the characters in this, I felt, is that after they became a group they were sort of shunted into the background until they were needed, and often it felt like a lot of lines, especially the expository ones, could've been anyone talking. Like, when they were first introduced they were these colorful characters - but then, as the plot took off, they were just so much extranea. (No, that's not a real word. Yes, I'm sticking with it.)
In short, I suppose that none of the characters really felt fully fleshed out for me, not even Deeba - who I liked in the beginning, and then was sort of meh about. Though I did generally like Hemi.
I liked Brokkenbroll at first, though the part where he revealed he was a bad guy was forseeable. I thought it was such a shame that he became such a wimpy villain at the end.
Oh, the Binja were kinda cool.

Bit ironic, that, no? :>

**laughs** Indeed!

And as an aside... I had no idea Lecturn (if that is the name) was a woman for a really long time. I don't know how I missed it, but I didn't notice it until the very end.

HBC would have to be in it if Tim Burton directed (as I requested in my review). Lecturn was too boring to me for her though. She'd be great as "the book", though she'd only be a voice then.
