Luke whistled to himself as he strolled in the store's front door, not exactly sure why he was here. Wal-Mart was always too crowded with crabby old women for his liking, and yet, here he was.

[Autumn]

((OHMAHGEE THEY BOTH HAVE RED HAIR! Lol.))

"Ahh, no problem," Luke smiled, offering her a hand.

[Autumn]

((Yes, ma'am.))

"Seriously, it's no big deal," Luke smiled.

[Autumn]

He took her hand. "Lucas Crane, but you can call me Luke," he said with a wink.

[Autumn]

"So, what brings you to this lovely Wal-Mart on this fine day?" Luke joked with yet another wink.
She's gonna think you have an eye twitch, you idiot, his inner Lucas criticized.

Matt stepped into the Wal-Mart and turned to look at Sawyer. "Ouch," he exclaimed as he ran into a shopping cart.

((Ahaha, seriously? He's a man- a player. And he can be quite cocky. But if you say soooo XD))

"Hmm, that sounds fascinating. I'd quite like to try that. Well, I just skipped school and got here-" He looked at his wrist, which definitely did not have a watch- "Thirty seconds ago."

[Autumn]

"A fellow rebel!" Luke smiled.

Matt stepped into the Wal-Mart and let the overload of sounds and colors enter his brain. He liked the way it crowded out his thoughts.

[Autumn]

"What shall we do to rebel against the society now?" Luke ran a hand through his hair.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"Rebel against society?" Matt said, overhearing a boy he was walking past. "Hope that doesn't mean shoplifting or something equally stupid."

"I do too," Matt said. "Well, other than today."

Sawyer looked at things in the store.

"Matt," Matt said, not wanting to say his last name. Judging by the clothes she was wearing, she went to Riley and he didn't want yet another new person to know who he was.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"Two," Matt said, not quite sure why she cared.

[Ky, Hay gurl hay~]

She went through the book section.

"Um, not really," Matt said. "I don't say butter, but-ter. I put the two t's together."

[Autumn]

Luke stared at Reine with a strange expression on his face. Those are some...random thoughts

Matt glanced at the boy standing next to them. "How do you pronounce butter?"

[Autumn]

"But-er. With the two t's together. I think. Butter. Yep, definitely with the two t's together," Luke nodded.

"That's how I thought most people pronounced it," Matt said.

[Autumn]

"It's kind of an awkward word to say when you think about it..." Luke said. "I'm Luke by the way."

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"Cool," Matt said.

"You can call me Matt-t if you want," Matt offered, smiling.

[Autumn]

Luke laughed. "I will, Mat-t. Sounds like I have a stutter..."

Matt laughed. "Stutters are... cool!"

Matt laughed again.

Matt realized Sawyer wasn't next to him anymore. He frowned.

[Autumn]

"What's the matter?" Luke shoved a hand in his pocket.

[Ky, Hay gurl hay~]

Sawyer found a notebook she thought was suitable. She felt guilty for not telling Matt before she slipped away to the office supplies aisle.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"Lost my... friend," Matt said, scanning the aisles.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"Yeah, that'd be great!" Matt said, smiling a little. He described Sawyer to her.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"She likes to write," Matt suggested, realizing he didn't really know her that well at all.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"She already has a notebook," Matt said. "Why would she want another one?

[Autumn]

"Honestly, she could be anywhere," Luke shrugged. "This store is pretty darn big."

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"She had lots of blank pages in her notebook," Matt insisted, not sure why he didn't just go to the school supplies section.

[Ky, Hay gurl hay~]

"But that'd be a waste of paper," Matt continued, but he took a couple steps forward.

Sawyer found what she was looking for and wandered out of the aisle.

[Autumn]

I'm not sure if this is actually going to get us anywhere, Luke thought, wondering if he should follow them.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

Matt nodded doubtfully and followed Reine. Sawyer wasn't in the aisle. "I told you," Matt said, feeling pretty happy that he was right, even if they hadn't found what Sawyer.

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

Matt smiled at Reine. "Yeah, it wasn't a bad idea."

[Elliott, I LOVE PHINEAS AND FERB.]

"You could be right," Matt allowed.

[Autumn]

Luke trailed behind them uncomfortably, feeling a bit out of place, mostly because he really wasn't sure why they were doing this. It seemed completely pointless to him, but he didn't have anything better to do, so he kept his mouth shut.

"Maybe she doesn't want to be found," Matt said slowly. They had been looking for her for a while, and she hadn't appeared yet. Maybe she just wanted to get away from everyone. She did act as if she liked to be alone most of the time.

[Autumn]

"Maybe," Luke shrugged. "Maybe not."
