25.3 Title Relay - The One That I Want by Allison Winn Scotch {5}, Time of my Life by Allison Winn Scotch {4}, and Break no Bones by Kathy Reichs {3}
18/42 books
110/325 points
**All great books... Really enjoy Allison's writing. I've also liked the Temperance Brennan series by Reichs... This is book 8 or 9 in the series.
I am only a few books away from meeting my goal of reading at least half of the required books :)

Gone - awesome series!!! Gucci Mamas - eh, not my favorite book. In fact, I had to force myself to finish it. Queen of Babble - seriously, why did I wait so long to start that series?!

15.1 – Mini-Shopoholic (October) & The Wedding Girl Sophie Kinsella/Madeline Wickham (Nobember/December)

Still not a fan of MW, I really had to push myself to get through this one. :(

25.4: Lydia's Charm by Wanda Brunstetter (2010); Perfection by Julie Metz (2009); The Secret Circle #1-2 part 1 by L.J. Smith (2008)
130/325
I stretched the copyright year a bit to get a 2008. The books were originally published as separate editions in the 90s, but were re-released in 2008 in the combined format that I read. It was amusing to read (and I think I may have read it as a kid since some parts seemed really familiar and I know I read The Vampire Diaries then); we know that Faye is rich because she has a VCR in her room!
The other two books in the copyright relay are so utterly depressing (and hostile in the case of Perfection) that I don't recommend anyone reading them...ever.

Cathy, I don't know how I missed it, but I just saw this post. That really sucks! I would've loved to read a 5th in the series! I've found that I really like the paranormal chick lit (Not anything like Twilight though).

10.4. Lend a Hand – Guilty Feet by Kelly Harte
TOTAL: 185
This book reminds me of all of the reasons I love and miss the RDI line of books.

25.4 Copyright Year Relay - Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks {2010}, Look Again by Lisa Scottoline {2009}, Match Point by Erynn Mangum {2008}
19/42 books
135/325 points
**Always love Sparks' books... Look Again was a good, fast read. Didn't expect all the twists which made it more fun to read. Mangum's three books I've read (a mini-series) were cute, but not really realistic. More YA than chick lit, though I am not sure if they are marketed that way or not.

10.1. Er… - OctobER, NovembER, DecembER - I NevER Fancied Him Anyway by Claudia Carroll
GREAT book. I absolutely loved it and can't believe I waited this long to read it. It is Irish chick lit and it made me laugh and get a bit teary eyed. All around great story!

Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella - just finished the unabridged audio yesterday - loved it!! I read it a while back and really wanted to hear the audio and it was every bit as entertianing if not more listening to Lexi Smart after her bump on the head!
Me vs. Me by Sarah Mlynowski I finished Nov 28 - I flew through this book!! It was just that good! Highly recommended, quick read.

5.5. Back in Black – Gloss by Jennifer Oko
TOTAL: 220
I thought this was a great story! Reminded me a bit of Laura Caldwell (just with less of a mystery twist at the end). If anyone wants to read this I posted it on PBS and BM.

15.1 Name's the Same: Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella and The Tennis Party by Madeleine Wickham
**Remember Me was excellent and The Tennis Party was interesting... The characters were all shady and so the storyline took a while to ease into and overall, the story was somewhat pointless.

I went back through my scores of previous challenges. My original goal was to beat my highest score. But back on the very first challenge, I had something like 170 points. Don't think I'm going to quite make that one.
In the meantime, I've been tossing around ideas in my head already for the next challenge after the cover challenge.....

Wow! Slow down, you have until April :) Just kidding!
Seriously though, I do enjoy these challenges! So far, this year, I've read 69 books, which is a record for me and definitely because of trying to do well in these challenges.

Wow - that is a serious love for this group Stacy!! I've been crying to my boyfriend that all I want to do is start the new challenge because those books are "new" and I haven't been staring at them for 3 months!! I can't imagine the challenge after that!
