That's right, Ashley! I apologize - I orignally heard the Shanna Swendosn rumors from Ashley then i looked it up on her web site...they really are fantastic novels that appeal to a large crowd because of their fiction/fantasy/magical/romance/fighting/wizards, etc elements

**All great books... Really enjoy Allison's writing. I've also liked the Temperance Brennan series by Reichs... This is book 8 or 9 in the series.
I am only a few books away from meeting my goal of reading at least half of the required books :)

Gone - awesome series!!! Gucci Mamas - eh, not my favorite book. In fact, I had to force myself to finish it. Queen of Babble - seriously, why did I wait so long to start that series?!

I stretched the copyright year a bit to get a 2008. The books were originally published as separate editions in the 90s, but were re-released in 2008 in the combined format that I read. It was amusing to read (and I think I may have read it as a kid since some parts seemed really familiar and I know I read The Vampire Diaries then); we know that Faye is rich because she has a VCR in her room!
The other two books in the copyright relay are so utterly depressing (and hostile in the case of Perfection) that I don't recommend anyone reading them...ever.

Cathy, I don't know how I missed it, but I just saw this post. That really sucks! I would've loved to read a 5th in the series! I've found that I really like the paranormal chick lit (Not anything like Twilight though).

**Always love Sparks' books... Look Again was a good, fast read. Didn't expect all the twists which made it more fun to read. Mangum's three books I've read (a mini-series) were cute, but not really realistic. More YA than chick lit, though I am not sure if they are marketed that way or not.

15.4 PronounsRemember Me? by Sophie Kinsella - just finished the unabridged audio yesterday - loved it!! I read it a while back and really wanted to hear the audio and it was every bit as entertianing if not more listening to Lexi Smart after her bump on the head!
Me vs. Me by Sarah Mlynowski I finished Nov 28 - I flew through this book!! It was just that good! Highly recommended, quick read.

LOL, considering I have just a couple weeks left, I don't know that I'll be able to get more than one more book read. I think this is the first time I've read this many in a challenge.
Congrats, ladies!! I don't know how you all read that fast, but great job! I can't believe all the high points in this challenge...it definitely motivates me to keep reading knowing there so many people participating.
Yay us! This is the first challenge for me as well that I've been able to read so many books for! I'm hoping to read about 5 more - I plan to sit on 12/23 (I'm off of work for Xmas Eve) and do nothing but READ!
I am currently reading 3 more... Not sure if I'll make it past that, but I'll try! My goal originally was to read half the books, now my goal is to make it into the top 3 since I am so close! :)

Seriously though, I do enjoy these challenges! So far, this year, I've read 69 books, which is a record for me and definitely because of trying to do well in these challenges.
