Not a big deal. If you want to bold or strike all you do is hit <.b.> without the spaces, that will bold. To unbold hit <./.b.> (again without the periods). For strike through, use s instead of b. For underline - u, and for italics - i.

Same here. I don't think I was ever even close to first before. My motivation has been all the library books though. :) But I think my standing is going to fall really quick because I've been putting off school stuff in order to read. Back to the (text) books. :(

Great to know! It's the last Walsh sister book I have to read...have you read the others? They are def my favorite of MK's books.

I haven't! This was my first Walsh sister book, but now it makes me even more interested in the other ones! I've read some of her other books, and this has been my favorite so far!

Hi Jordan! Welcome to the group/challenge! I hope you enjoy it. We do them on a quarterly basis and this format is the usual format but I think I'm going to change it up a bit on the next one and do something based on bookcovers. :)

Oh I am SO frustrated. I have been without internet at home since Tuesday night. Couldn't get an appointmet to have the tech come out to look at it until last night. What I thought was going to be a simple malfunctioning modem turned out to be a HUGE problem.
Something happened to the "connector" or the "splitter" somewhere in the line that is in the finished part of the basement in my apartment. So, being that I don't own it, I can't go ripping into the drywall to let them fix it. Apparently, there is "noise" on the line and it's sending a bunch of "crap" back to the cable company that the FCC doesn't like. So they shut my modem off and the tech couldn't knowingly hook it back up because he'd get written up, possibly fired and fined by the FCC.
Sounds like an easy fix though, right? Well, it's under a two week time crunch. If it doesn't get fixed in two weeks, my apartment will be forever shut off from anything other than basic and expanded cable!
Ok so my aunt & uncle own the apartment building but they have a building manager. So I called the manager to let him know about the situation. The tech told me if they called before 10pm to schedule an appointment to get it fixed, they could get one the next day (today). Well, he hemmed & hawwed about it and asked if I minded if he "popped on over tomorrow to take a look at the basement and see where it comes in at." I thought, are you freaking kidding me? I need this done YESTERDAY! I do my school online! And of course he says he has to get permission from my uncle to have it done and said he would call. I figured he wouldn't call until the next day sometime (probably after he "pops" by). So I tried to call my aunt & uncle myself. Oops! I forgot, they are in Florida right now and will be there for the next FIVE weeks with limited phone access!!! Unbelievable!
I really do have all the luck.
With that said, I'm going to have to write down points, take it home, update my spreadsheet, write THAT down and come back to work to post the leaderboard. GRRRRRR!!!!

What about saving whatever info you have at home on a disc or flash drive so that you don't have to write everything down that's saved on your home computer? I hate internet problems..and no one helps - or they just wanna charge you money to fix it! I'm with you...grrrr....hope it works out soon:)

Well, since it means I can't work on school, I'm able to read without guilt. :) I've got a feeling I'll be finishing The Love Goddess' Cooking School and starting another since all the other ones I have started I had to give back to the library. Maybe I'll even finish two this weekend! ;)
