I am trying to squeeze one more in as well, knowing once this challenge is over my remaining books will be put on a shelf not to be looked at again until probably 2012!

I don't know if this reflects on me or the book. But I read it years ago and forgot that I read it until I tried to read it again. And I STILL can't remember what it was about.:) I'm pretty sure I remember liking it though...

Task completed 5.7 Charlie St. Cloud by Ben Sherwooda great read prompted by wanting to see the movie.
230 points 30 books
I had the same thing happen! I read it years ago but forgot what it was about. So I read it again. I really did like it, just couldn't remember what happened!Stacy wrote: "Ashley wrote: "10.5 It’s a Zoo - Fishbowl by Sarah Mlynowski

My sister and I are planning on watching the movie tomorrow. :)Kristin (Kritters Ramblings) wrote: "Task completed 5.7 Charlie St. Cloud by Ben Sherwood

So, I was hoping to read one last book before the end of the year. Well I have no idea where I got the idea that the book I Do (But I Don't) by Cara Lockwood was set in New York (for task 5.2 Land of the Free). It is set in Austin, Texas! haha. I have nowhere to fit it into the challenge, but I'm going to finish reading it anyway since a friend let me borrow it. Maybe I'll do better with the cover challenge.
Well, it looks like I can only claim one last task for points:25.4
(Published 2010)
(Published 2009)
(Published 2008)
So that brings my grand total of points to a whopping 75.
I finished a few books for multi-book tasks, but didn't finish the tasks:
Of those, Georgia's Kitchen was my favorite, but I enjoyed all of them.
So I guess that's it for me for this challenge...better luck next time! :)

I read that one a while back and really liked it. :)

Last task completed for the year!
10.5 Tales From a Hen Weekend
180/325 points
24/42 books
I only managed to finish this because I was so freaking bored at work yesterday and I was able to (sneak) read most of the day. And I stayed up late last night to finish it. I gave it three stars but would've liked to give it two and a half. It was one of those books that, if it wasn't so close to the end of the challenge, I would've given up on after the first 100 pages. I just didn't really care about the characters. It didn't draw me in.

Welp, happy new year everyone - didn't finish the last task I was hoping to. Now to find out if it can work for the cover challenge, as it will be finished tomorrow!
TASK COMPLETED:5.8. It’s So…. - The Glamorous, (Double) Life of Isabelle Bookbinder by Holly McQueen
This brings my grand total to 290!!! 38 books have been cleared off my shelves courtesy of this challenge!!! Thanks Stacy!!
15.1: Mini-Shopoholic and The Wedding Girl Sophie Kinsella/Madeleine Wickham 175/325
I might finish Room by Emma Donoghue for 5.7 tonight, but I really doubt it. If I liked it better, I know I'd finish. I'm pretty much only reading it because it works for the task. I'd heard such great things about it, so I'm disappointed.
Ok, here's the final leaderboard!

Stacy - thank you for hosting! I am going to pass, it would only bring more books into the house and I see the boy shaking his head with my resolution to lower the amount of books that grace our doorstep!
Thank you Stacy! I can't believe I made it into the top 3- wow! Thanks again for hosting this awesome challenge!
