J.R. Chase | 5 comments Sent a copy to you J, hope you enjoy it!

Chicago Squeeze is the first in my "Chicago" series of mysteries.

Here's the blurb:

Once a star detective, ex-Chicago PD Jack Riley was thrown off the force under a cloud of scandal. Now he works as a private eye out of Roseland, one of Chicago's bleakest neighborhoods.

When Erin Graves, the youngest daughter of one of Chicago's oldest industrial families is found dead of an apparent overdose, Jack is hired to investigate.

Jack soon discovers that the manicured mansions of the Gold Coast mask a grisly underbelly of sex, drugs and dirty money in Chicago high society.

As Jack catches the scent of a killer, he must confront the dark shadows of his own life or risk losing everything he has left.

Miriam Newman (goodreadscommrmirelandaolcom) | 18 comments Hi, I'm Miriam and have a new blog: http://www.theblueroseblog.blogspot.com. I have an interview and contest with Canadian author Kate Hofman. I thought this lady was well worth interviewing. She has 28 books published! She writes contemporary romance. My blog is open to romance and historical authors.

Miriam Newman (goodreadscommrmirelandaolcom) | 18 comments Miriam again. I see for some reason Blogger is directing you to a service outage report when you click the above link. ??? If it's not too much trouble, just put it in your browser. That gets you through. Sorry!

Back from participating in the Decatur Book Festival. Anyone interested in the Festival and my experience as an author can read about it on my blog over the next couple of days.
