★ Jess | 3071 comments at 9:30 I'll be tuning into 7two to watch Bernard Tomic :)

message 302: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) I'm watching the American version of Wilfred; it actually better than expected

message 303: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments Oh, I haven't seen it yet.
BUT I havent seen all the Aussie one either. Still working through the first season in DVD :)

message 304: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) One of the guys from the Wedge is Wilfred

message 305: by [deleted user] (new)

I rarely watch TV, but I'm loving The Kennedy's.

★ Jess | 3071 comments I was watching Tomic vs Djokovic in the Wimbleton finals...Saw the first set then got sent to bed for 'Stay up to late'.
Ive got the live scored on my computer now. Good to see he is 3-1 (and serving) in the second set :)
Dont think he will get over the line against Novak-world #2-but I hope he is going to be competitive and make it a 5 set game.
BUT, Tomic did beat Soderling, world #5, so nothing is impossible. Fingers crossed.

Neko Watching season 7 of Simpsons...I'm so far behind in the simpsons it's not even funny :p

message 309: by Neko (new)

Neko Lol....I've watched so many of the seasons while at friends but just not consistantly to say I've actually watched them all...Now is my chance just sooo many *hangs head* XD

message 310: by Neko (new)

Neko Sounds interesting Carmel....The only thing that bothers me is this:
COMPASS: STATE OF UNION
Screening 10pm Sunday, July 2 on ABC1

July 2nd is today..lol So, maybe it's going to be on the 3rd?

message 311: by [deleted user] (new)

THE NUGGET LOL

message 312: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments Australias not the only country against gay marriage, is it?

message 313: by Neko (new)

Neko Arugh...I missed Compass...Will go catch up tomorrow with the online part.

But Michael, yeah, it's annnoying Australia won't recogise couples who get married over in USA or Canada when they come back home. Would be dishearting.

message 314: by Michael (new)

That annoys me too, spoiled my plans for a Vegas wedding

message 315: by Neko (last edited Jul 03, 2011 05:23PM) (new)

Neko Vegas is illegal still :p

People within the USA have the same problem (vegas or not)..Get married in say MA then go to Cali and suddenly they aren't married anymore.

message 316: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) yeah that's why there are millions of stories about people that travel having two different families

Mmm!! Interesting Carmel! :D

I have never understood why gay marriage is such a big deal..its just a couple of words we have to change. its not like they are terrorists asking for. the world will not end if the words change from between man and woman to between to people.
you should able to marry who you love. its no like someone falls in loves with a gender of a person they fall in love with a person. i find it all very frustrating and ridiculous we are not living in the dark ages!
end rant

message 319: by Neko (new)

Neko I had a gay marriage in my Sims 3 tonight..haha :D

Melanie, I agree with Carmel that wasn't a rant, and I also agree with you. It shouldn't matter when someone loves another person of the same sex...I mean, really, it doesn't personally affect other people..Marriage is between two people not 10 or 20 or 100 people, just two.

I think it is time to step out of the dark ages and follow in the footsteps of other countries that have allowed it.

message 320: by Neko (new)

Neko Ughh...Has anyone else thought Masterchef Australia isn't the same anymore? It's moreso about the people than the cooking. And so much blubbering. I sorta feel like I'm watching BB but with some food sprinkled in..lol

Not a fan of reality shows but this one was okay. Moreso enjoyed the kids one though.

Offspring now :D

message 321: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 3071 comments I stopped watching Masterchef. I saw the first two seasons, thoroughly enjoyed both-but just stopped this year. And I hated the kids one. Watched three episodes than stopped because they were all so annoying and spoilt.

message 322: by Neko (last edited Jul 06, 2011 05:27AM) (new)

Neko Never saw the kids one as spoiled kids....One of the children who was in it used to attend my Mum's school and he was far from spoiled..Very down to earth kid.

But in terms of Masterchef adult..urgh....blegh...gimme a bucket to go puke..lol

message 323: by Neko (new)

Neko Carmel, don't worry...i don't think you're missing out on much.

It's awesome, but the book is better :P

message 344: by Neko (last edited Jul 27, 2011 04:07AM) (new)

Neko My sister has all the books actually...At first this show bored me until episode 6 which I just finished. Interesting. But still I'd think the books would be better considering they came first.

message 345: by [deleted user] (new)
