interesting question lol............no I am catholic
are you?"

No I was just checking in. You see it's Atheists that normally don't enjoy Narnia. It's very Bible based. I'm a Christian. I go to Church and I believe in God.

message 73: by Kara (new)

Kara (kara_writes) | 128 comments hahah im an atheist. that would explain why I never liked those books...Actually ive only read like..Half of the first one...

message 74: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Oh. Well maybe you should try the second one. You might like it better.

Kara (kara_writes) | 128 comments maybe

SAME!!!! yes! It is really hard to find christians! Then, you join the christians groups and it is FULL of athiests telling you how mentally abused you are and you are full of b******t. Nice to meet you!

This is in a group I joined and I was NOT saying atiests are horrible, rude people!NUH-UH! i was just saying its hard to actually find people like...christians lol

message 78: by GSGS (new)

GSGS | 621 comments Heh now I'm confused.

message 79: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Lizzy wrote: "hey i'm an atheist too and I LIKED it! =_=

and stop calling mindless fools and start stating some real foolproof reasons why to like twilight for us...maybe that'd be better than attacking us ours..."

If you liked it I now call you a "smart" Atheist.

message 80: by Kara (new)

Kara (kara_writes) | 128 comments and...What? I'm a "dumb" atheist lol?

message 81: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Maybe. (Just kidding) XD

message 82: by Kara (new)

Kara (kara_writes) | 128 comments lol :D

message 83: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments But Narnia is a cleverly written book. The author (The Great C.S Lewis) took the total of three years to write "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"

message 84: by GSGS (new)

GSGS | 621 comments Really? I didn't know that.

message 85: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Yeah, well it did. It was sure worth it though.

message 86: by GSGS (new)

GSGS | 621 comments Yeah. I have a great aunt who is obsessed with Narnia.

message 87: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Ho. I don't know ANYONE like that....

message 88: by Kara (new)

Kara (kara_writes) | 128 comments ouch.

message 90: by GSGS (new)

message 91: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 31, 2010 02:32AM) (new)

Phew! Im glad! Tell your great aunt i said hi! :)

I would so laugh if you actually did that! I would love to see your aunts reaction!

Soph - Lock&Key | 211 comments Clair wrote: "But Narnia is a cleverly written book. The author (The Great C.S Lewis) took the total of three years to write "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader""

yeah and its also I am sorry to point out (well not really) boring.

message 93: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Huh. What's boring about it?

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

Soph wrote: "Clair wrote: "But Narnia is a cleverly written book. The author (The Great C.S Lewis) took the total of three years to write "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader""

What would you do to improove it?

Soph - Lock&Key | 211 comments Clair wrote: "Huh. What's boring about it?"

ok sorry that was harsh. I respect that you like it. :)

but for me I saw everything comming there was no element of surprise and the characters just washed out eachother.

but that is just my thoughts.

message 96: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Eh? Well, there isn't SUPPOSED to be an element of suprise. Narnia is all about metaphors. There's no POINT in it having an element of suprise because it's not a thriller.

message 97: by [deleted user] (new)

Soph wrote: "Clair wrote: "Huh. What's boring about it?"

No, it wasn't harsh at all. You gave your opinion and in the nicest way possible...you weren't harsh. not one bit!

message 98: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Yes.... Now back to the point.......

@ Violet: Narnia isn't really a thriller, is it?

Soph - Lock&Key | 211 comments ok, I like things that surprise me and make me emotional. Thats why I dont like it.

message 100: by Claere (new)

Claere (omenonwings) | 366 comments Oh I see. I'm not emotional. I prefer depth and deep thinking to thrill.
