New York Trilogy: good choice!

Heh, I actually liked it, even if I found parts heavy handed.
The Grapes of Wrath. It was terrible, it was beautiful and I cried like a baby. True Steinbeck all around.

Interesting. I thought Cousin Bette more enjoyable than Pere Goriot.

I loved it, too! Great mystery.
Sadly, I believe the author died recently.

Clarissa is 4x its length and also, unfortunately, on the list. Albeit a little easier to bear, his longwindedness never quite goes away.

Eek! 4x the length of Pamela? I don't know how I am going to get through something else by him. Will probably have to take it in small doses over a long period of time.

One of my favorite movie's but have yet to read the book. Looking forward to this one. Glad to hear it was enjoyable.

Woohoo is right! Congratulations!
