Last names with spaces

If an author's last name has a space in it (eg, "Van Allsburg"), do we have any way of making it sort with the whole last name instead of just the last part of it (eg, under "V" instead of "A")? I tried putting a   instead of a space between the two parts of the name, but it looks like the HTML isn't rendered into a space in some places, so that's no good....

Not yet. This comes up with South American names and "Jr."s too.

I believe we're waiting on an "author sort field". No idea where that feature is in the queue.
