Thanks for the welcome. What a great group! :)

I am with you there; nothing like a new book. Used books are good too, especially well thumbed ones because you get the idea that others have read and hopefully loved the book.

Mmmm walking into a bookshop....like coming home!
Hey Diane just noticed ur last message number 5555 ....bit of trivia: The number 5 is pronounced as "ha" in the thai language, so basically 5555 translates to hahahaha. A happy message!

What a wonderful piece of trivia Julie..lovely to turn something into "happy"!!

It was a happy message:-) I did explore Glebe today. Love the bookstores there! And the coffee! I will try to get down to Newtown in the next few weeks.

Lol :-D

My name is Kerry I am a 36 year old crazy cat lady! I have 4!
I love reading and will give any genre a go, especially if a friend recommends it. I read on my tablet but love the feel of a real book too.
I also love craft: Knitting and cross stitch mostly. Oooh I love gardening too, but not in this cold wintry weather.
Nice to be part of this group. =)
Welcome Kerry! Great to have you with us:) I'm 100% positive you will find other cat lovers here to join you;)

Not a great deal to say...I enjoy reading and love nothing more than to fall deeply into books, I tend to go through phases where I will not be pulled away from a book to barely making it to the end (am I the only one?). I don't have many "hobbies" reading being the biggest one, currently I am in a *do not disturb* mode with my books. When im not reading I will be studying or looking after my pets...that's it boring me. I enjoy coffee...lots of coffee, traveling (not that I have ever), animals and of course BOOKS! :)

not sure who sent me this invite, will be interesting to see what your reading down under!
I love books especially paperbacks!!!!

some I have read...
I belong to the Waverley Book Club here in U.K.
Always got one on the go...
