Hi I'm Alison,

I've just joined goodreads to try and catalog all the books I have read over the years. I currently live in Melbourne but I am originally from America. I loved it so much here I decided to stay and haven't looked back. I will be moving to Ballarat soon and looking forward to the good clean air and finally having space for a library in my home. I read anything I can get my hands on particularly crime novels and the classics.

I hope to make some friends who I can discuss books with and who won't think I'm an absolute bore when I describe my exciting weekend filled with reading.

That's one of my dreams, Alison - a 2-storey book-lined room with one of those gorgeous timber ladders that circles it!

l really wanted two stories Hemat and Now that was a no go but I will have ladders . I'm only 5ft Iol .

Hello everyone!

My name is Wendy and I live in sunny Sydney ( at least it is today). I love to read and write. In fact, I always thought that I was going to write children’s novels. Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to that until half a lifetime later. I have had two stories published, The Doolalley Kid and The Boy Who Disappeared. Most recently, I plunged into self publishing and my 3rd book ( and first self publishing effort) is Angel of Fire.

When not writing, I do love to read. All genres. It relaxes me. Oh I also love the TV!

Hello, my name is Christie and I'm 26 years old and I hail from Sydney. I currently work as a teacher in a childcare centre but in my spare time, I love to read my always growing collection of books and if I'm not reading, I'll usually be writing. I've just started writing my debut novel I'm planning to publish one day. I think my favourite genre would be romance/new adult so that's the genre I'm writing because its so familiar to me.
