Welcome Elise, lovely to have you with us:) Enjoy browsing, you'll definitely find your TBR growing at an alarming rate! lol

Welcome Nick, lovely to have you with us:) We have a thread for our WA readers, you're welcome to browse there...catch up with a few WA people:) http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/4...

My name is Grant. I'm a software engineering student from Melbourne and was looking for a forum to discuss my love of reading, which has lead me here!
I read mostly classics and lit fict but really I just love reading books that challenge me to think in ways I wouldn't normally.
Feel free to add me :)

Would love some new reading recommendations, it has been too long since I've found that book/series that I just can't put down.

Welcome Jaymin, lovely to have you with us:) We have lots of threads which will recommend books to you in all genres, but I might just put the one I've just finished here (I know, I know, wrong thread!! lol) but it covers all your loves so Akropolis by Catherine McCallum and my review (which I added about 5 minutes ago!) http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Enjoy:)

Welcome Nicole/Nikki/Lulu ;) Lovely to have you with us. Good luck with your HSC and studies up until then!

Thanks will do and can't wait for it to be over

Thank you for that recommendation Brenda. It sounds like something I definitely have to read. And I love Aussie authors (all authors really but have to support fellow Australians).

Thank you, Michael. I feel very welcome already. :) And pressing publish was the scariest, most exhilarating event, and so far I'm loving the journey. Maybe it is that I love to read so much, but being able to control my own story, had to stop myself from going a little power crazy there ;)

Hello S.K. :) go the maroons definitely (kind of goes without saying now) 8 in a row

I have random tastes in genres from YA/NA works through to a love of crime fiction from cosy crimes to historical whodunnits.
My favourite authors to read right now are Kim Harrison, Katie MacAlister, Mary-Janice Davidson, MC Beaton/ Marion Chesney... and that's just naming the few I am into this month. ;-)
As life can get in the road of me paying attention to everything on Goodreads, if I don't post often don't take it that I am lurking... more that I've forgotten to check the posts.
If you're interested in my author side, my blog is here: http://janishill.wordpress.com/
Nice meeting you in advance!
Janis.
