It is entitled The Sword of Demelza, and it is 'peopled' by animals, who embark on an adventure that will change their world. The animals are real, many endangered, most found only in Australia. Hi, I'm Anne Gracie, and I'm a writer as well as a reader. I live in Melbourne, but my books are set in Regency-era (early 1800's) England and Europe (and one was set in Egypt.) I'm published by Berkley USA and Penguin Australia, and my next book is coming out In February. I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to put my website in, so I won't.

Recently I've been reading a lot of fantasy, but also romance and some crime. I've been reading Juliet Marillier's backlist through most of the summer — love them — and I just discovered a new to me crime author, Elly Griffiths whose first book I read recently and really enjoyed. I've ordered the rest of her backlist. Currently I'm reading Susan Elizabeth Phillips, The Great Escape (and it's not about WW2 :))
