Introduce yourselves!
A very big welcome Monica! We have quite a number of members down your way...I'm sure some of them will say hi soon:)

Thank you for making me feel so welcome! Looking forward to joining in on the discussions :)
Hi (again) Jane! Welcome:) Boy, we are being overrun by Melburnites...lol It's great to have you with us. Enjoy browsing, and you'll find some wonderful recommendations here!
*Waving back from Southern Tassie* :)

Melbourne! Yeh! :-) Welcome Jane.

Hi Amber :) I used to live in Canberra at one stage (with my family) and I still have friends there. I was also the technical officer at Photomedia, Canberra School of Art, A.N.U. Great memories of the Art School :) Looking forward to chatting with you.

Welcome Jane *waves from Keilor* lol :)

Hello Amber. Welcome :)
Hi Amber! Welcome .. back? to this awesome group !

I've been on Goodreads for awhile but have only just joined this group (thanks Mish!). I've also signed up for the Literary/Classic challenge - ahh so many books, so little time.....
I mainly read contemporary novels but am open to anything!
Look forward to reading all about what other 'Aussie Readers' are devouring.
cheers
Kaylene

Yes, it's beautiful! Moved here recently after growing up in the suburbs so loving the quiet life and country air!!

I'm loving it so far, what a fab group! Looking forward to the 'craziness'!
Cheers :)

I'm a little backward because I've joined 2 events, did the quiz, and now I'm introducing myself. There is a reason behind my madness though - I hate introductions. I never know what to say.
Anyway, I'm in Brisbane, Qld (originally from NSW) and live with my husband and 3 year old son.
As I chose to be a stay at home mum (actually my work at the time made the choice for me) I took up university studies when my son was 1. I'm studying Law and Business, but not sure if I'll pick the double degree back up next year.
I'm taking some time off this year and will resume next year once I get myself back in order. I've had some personal problems, but wont bore you all with that here. I don't want to scare you all away :-)
This year off is giving me some great time to read all those books I've gathered and haven't read yet. Trust me, there are a lot of them! I love reading as I can 'escape' to a different 'reality' for a while. :-)
I look forward to interacting with you all. (Is it me or did that sound overly formal? haha I didn't intend for it to be.)

Yes, I've always preferred books. I can't even watch a movie without doing something else at the same time. Just doesn't hold my attention. Books are far more interesting. I'm glad my son loves books. It will be good for him in the future. :)

Good luck with your studies and I guess your three year old will also provide a range of studies, too!
BTW your introduction was fine.

A very big welcome Sabina! Lovely to have you with us, and yes, as Pete said, your intro was great! Books are the absolute best thing aren't they!! If there is one thing I couldn't be without in life, it's BOOKS!!
