Welcome Carmen! I've found doing challenges is a great way to encourage me to read more!
G'day all, I just joined recently and am excited to share the love of books with like-minded peeps.
I live in Brisbane, My favourite authors over the years have included Charles Dickens, Roald Dahl, Ian Fleming, but in more recent years I have confined my reading to Australia's Great War history. I am hoping to expand my reading in the coming months and revisit some of the classics and see what is new.

Hello, I just joined up today (yay.)I’m an aussie that loves to read a lot and is open to reading different kinds of stories (except maybe horror). I just self-published my own book too, which is exciting cause it’s a big step for me to take. (If interested just pop onto my profile and you’ll find it there.)
But I joined up here because I thought it’ll be nice to talk to people about books and make some friends. 😊 I enjoy books from Derek Landy, Ilsa J. Bick, Maria V. Snyder and Julie Kagawa the most, but there are many other authors I enjoy reading books from too.
Don’t be shy to share some recommendations to me, I’m always looking for a good book to read. :D

Hi everyone! :)I'm Alda, I'm from Italy but I've been living for the last 2 years in Brisbane, where I'm studying at UQ. I love reading, even if I have to admit I'm a slow reader. My favourite genres are fantasy and historical novels, but I enjoy also non-fiction or books of different genres if the plot sounds interesting. I started using Goodreads regularly only last year and I've joined this group to share reviews and get suggestions for new reads :)
