Ace wrote: how do we pronounce your name LOL"Pronounced "eee-on", well that's how my parents have pronounced it! Yes went through a phase in life (like any kid) that this was all to hard, wanted to change name. Get older, now just used to it, as is somewhat unique / not so common name :)

Hi everyone, new joiner here, Mark from the Blue Mountains NSW. A prolific reader since I was a kid, I could quite easily spend the rest of my life in a country shack, reading to the end of days. I've always wanted to write as well, but a busy career and 4 hourly travel time to and from my job left little time for that. I also care for my ill wife and daughter. A temporary change of circumstances has allowed me to start writing and I published my first children's book on Amazon which I'm still a bit nervous about. Looking forward to chatting here and making friends as I'm kinda shy in real life.

I joined a couple of weeks ago but was too shy to say hello.
Still feeling my way around Goodreads and the various groups.
I used to be able to read at least a book a week but now with trying to juggle kids and writing, that has dropped off.
Mainly read YA Fantasy.
I love cooking, and walking and travelling. I also used to teach high school but am now home full-time as Mum.

hi im caitlin! im still super new on good reads and this feels a little strange to do i like basically anything YA except most contemporaries
my favourite books are the left hand of god trilogy but no one has ever read them apparently, if you have let me know because i gotta rant to someone about then end who understands lol
im from the sunshine coast in qld and im studying at the moment so i tragically cannot read as much as i would like

thanks! you should get around to it, it is quite heavy at some bits so you do kind of have to be in the mood for it, but its just so good
Hi Caitlin! Welcome! I have read The Left Hand of God and The Last Four Things but I gave up after that because I wasn't impressed with the latter. I'd be hard pressed to recall what happened now!
yeah that one drags a bit but it picks up in the third and ive got to say the ending still makes me mad to this day but the series has a special place in my heart, the first one is definitely the best though
