The Three Musketeers is a brilliant book! Have you read more of Dumas' work? The Count of Monte Christo is one of my all time favourites.

Yesssss I'm so in love with his work!! Count of Monte Cristo is the first Dumas book I read, it's what made me pick up The Three Musketeers. I've read the entire D'Artagnan Romances collection (including the little-known The Son of Porthos: Or, the Death of Aramis), The Corsican Brothers, The Two Dianas (though I think my edition quit halfway through the story!) and The Women's War is on my July challenge list. I read anything of his I can get my hands on, plus now anything remotely related to him or his work. You could say I'm a little obsessed haha.

I just had a peek at your bookshelf; you are definately a more dedicated devotee than I am: The Three Muskateers is probably my second favourite after Monte Christo, and I have read some of the other DiArtagnan, writings, not all. The black Tulip, I read years ago and really want to re-read, it was one of the first Dumas I found as an adult.
Anyhow, this discussion might well motivate me to go out and find more Dumas!

Sorry Sally, I just get so excited when people want to talk Dumas! :)
Thanks for all the warm welcomes! :)

Welcome Krystal - I am yet to check out Dumas.

My reading tastes are pretty general, however I do not read Paranormal, fantasy, scifi or dystopian novels. (But yes, I am a GOT fan :-) ) After going thru a long period of Indian and Chinese fiction, my current favourite genre is fictionalised/re-imagined biographies of historical figures or novels incorporating a real person from the past.
Last time I looked at my Goodreads profile it said I was not a member of any group ! But I am definitely signed up to this one!
