Introduce yourselves!

Whilst I love anything and everything Young Adult, I have a strong preference for urban-fantasy and contemporary novels. Some of my recent favourite reads are Breathing Under Water, Illuminae, and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. I'm a pretty slow reader, but hey, I'm working on it!
I started reading when I was in grade six or seven, thanks to Eragon. Since then, I've been completely and utterly obsessed with reading, and I can't imagine my life without books.
Fun fact: I've never read Harry Potter. (woops!)
When I'm not reading, I love spending time with my friends, or frying my brain cells with television and video games. I'm currently in the middle of re-watching Supernatural, and I've recently been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I make a lot of puns and dad jokes (more so in person than in writing), so take that as your one and only warning. I swear that many of my friends want to murder me half the time that they're with me!
Welcome to the group Kristy-Leigh. We're a pretty friendly lot so hopefully your jokes will go down well:)

I've looked around your blog. Asperger's can be an annoying problem, but it looks to me like you've used it as a challenge rather than as a burden (or maybe sometimes one, sometimes the other?)
I'm leaving my email address at the blog, and may be able to help you with publicity. Have a look around my blog https://bobrich18.wordpress.com

Not if you are an Aussie. Mine was in the US and we spent half the time arguing semantics.

Thanks, Phrynne.

Nice to meet you.

I'm a Perth based project manager by day and author by night. I love speculative fiction, sci-fi and fantasy as well as a good historical drama or a thriller that can really grab you. I would like to think that reading makes you a better writer and lately I've fallen into a bit of a hole with reading with work and everything else. Would love to get suggestions for good books with interesting protagonists! Nice to meet you all!
