Introduce yourselves!

I get 8 books at a time from my nearest library, Charters Towers, at a cost of $3 for the door to door delivery. My librarians reckon only 5% of their clientele , like to read what I do..
See my authors page, if interested.
Welcome Lesley, lovely to have you with us! If you'd like to promote your work, create your own thread in the Author Spotlight section - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... - top right hand side "new topic" and go from there!
That way you can chat to us all about your book/s to your heart's content:)

Hi Jade- hope you have fun here with the rest of us from all over.

Welcome to the group Peter. Scroll down our home page until you find the Author's Spotlight section. You are welcome to open a thread there about your own work.

Thanks, will do :)

Just published my first book and I've asked to be added to the Author Spotlight list.
Currently reading? Moby Dick. I know it's considered a masterpiece by many...but I beg to differ! It's an extremely arduous read, but I am nothing if not stubborn - it will be finished. One day.
Welcome David :) Please edit your post to remove reference to your book and in the Author Spotlight section you can create your own thread to tell us all about it. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... (top right hand side - "new topic" and go from there:) Thanks!

Welcome Quetzi...my recommendation is to head to our other threads or even make your own with your request. This introduction thread means within a few posts your request will be lost - if you have your own, or chat in the existing threads (you'll find some Aussie recommendation threads when you browse) you'll have a much better response. Thanks!

Hi Quetzi
This is a must read, 'Why Warriors lay Down and Die' by Richard Trudgeon. Richard has lived with the Yolngu tribes of Arnhem land for decades and has an amazing insight into aboriginal history and culture.
Cheers
Ed Elgar

Just want to introduce myself. I'm an avid reader and fledgling author with one book published on Kindle and Goodreads.
Looking forward to sharing in some home grown discussions!
Cheers

Welcome to the group Ed:) Head over to the Author Spotlight section and you can create your own thread - see the link above in post #8730 - we'd love to hear about your work:)

I think I've successfully just done that. Still tip-toeing gingerly around the Goodreads site!
Ed ;-)
