My name is Judi and I was born a reader. I grew up in Brisbane, which I love, and still live here close to my extended family of parents, brothers, nieces, and nephews.

Hi Rhonda

Hi Rhonda - always good to see more people enjoying this companionable place.

My name is Aimee and I am a young teen from Vic. I have had a love for reading my whole life and started my blog (http://www.ponderingbooks.com/) to share my passion with the world. On my blog I review books which is an amazing experience for me. I am also absolutely obsessed with GoodReads, so you will probably see me on here a lot, Lol!
Welcome Aimee:) Great to have you with us!

I am an author, but I don't write about Australia. My genre is Christian historical fiction, and I really enjoy reading and writing about them. The people became real to me. :)
I hope to visit here often now that I know you exist :) Thank you for having me.
Susan

I'm slowly finding a happy medium, kind of, and entering into the world of the ebook, which I resisted strongly at first. What made me cave in was my loss of time; I simply couldn't spend hours at the bookshop any more trying to deciding what I would buy next. I also love the convenience of sitting up in bed and deciding what to read then clicking a button and it appears on my computer for me to read straight away.
I'm only just finding my feet in goodreads so happy to stumble on this group. I'm eclectic in my choice of reads, although lately I have been reading more paranormal romance, dystopian, urban fantasy because they are the genres I write in. I do love a good psychological thriller eg Gillain Flynn. Recently brought a huge tome by Dean Koontz called Ashley Bell, but have only managed the first chapter in over a week because my head keeps falling between the pages I'm that tired. I'm not normally into thriller/spy/espionage but I do love Daniel Silva and his Hero Gabriel Allon, a more reachable James Bond. I'm also aiming to try some Mark Dawson as well, a recently discovered author in that genre, whose blog I now follow (he's a bit of a self-published guru).
Any how look forward to exploring this group some more
