Hi All,

I'm a full time independent West Australian writer. I live in Perth, and when not writing I'm a philanthropist and fundraiser for good causes.

An ardent traveller I've visited over 453 cities in 51 different countries and lived in 17 of those cities located in 5 of those countries.

I specialise in writing novels set in the places that I've been and about the things that I've has seen. Mainly, I write stories for young people that can be enjoyed by adults.

Everything I write including my current series is fiction based around elements of fact.

You would think so Patty, but if that were true could you please explain those days you just stare at the ceiling and nothing comes to mind but coffee, chocolate and throwing your computer at the wall? (Not necessarily in that order of course.)

The computer has recovered but I'm still looking for a software update that can automatically converse with the three protagonists in my head. They are forever arguing about who should get the most attention - serves me right for creating a story with three main characters.

Hi all,

I joined the group a while ago, but have been mostly inactive on Goodreads during an extended period of relocation (London-Brisbane-Sydney). I had some great experiences on the UK Goodreads boards, but time zones turned me into a recluse. I'm now back in Sydney full time, just climbed out of a deep writing hole, so wanted to wave hello. *Hello*.

I write fiction, usually stories with a black comedy flavour, and I just finished my first Australian-set novel. Once I find my way around the author spotlight section, I'll try to sort out a giveaway post.
