Yeah, I imagine so, though I do prefer the cold here in Australia, here we never experience the truly cold

Well I also spent a few years in Canada and nothing is as bad as those winters (and I lived in southern Canada!) To be honest when I've been home in the winter time I spend the whole time in shorts, but I find it as cold if not colder at night as our homes aren't really set-up to stay warm. During the days though there are times the Aussie winter is actually warmer than English summer.

Hi everyone. I'm an Aussie mum living on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW. I am an avid romance reader (yeah I'll admit it) and have the awesome part time job of creating ebook and print covers for Romance authors in AUS and the US. I LOVE reading and am constantly found with a kindle in my hand or an audio-book playing on my iphone. I've been wanting to read more Aussie based romance but have found it hard to find recommendations as most of my contacts/authors are US based. I'm pretty picky, depending on my mood and have found most Aussie authors I've read are basing their stories in the US. Jess Dee is one of my fav Aussie authors as well as Jackie Ashenden (from New Zealand) who thankfully keep their stories local. I love contemporary, GBLT, BDSM and anything Paranormal. Can't wait to find some new reading material and some like-minded people to discuss books. Cheers.

I enjoy a good Australian read among many others and genres.
In-between casual teaching, family,Library studies and creative ventures, reading is my big temptation and distraction. I am in 2 local book clubs and always visit libraries/book shops on my travels!
