Introduce yourselves!

this ain't much of an intro, but I never meant it to be.
Anyhoo, my name's Ben and I live in central Victoria. I joined the group because I'm involved in a very small book club wherein I'..."
Welcome Ben
Nothing wrong with talking to yourself - i do it all the time ;)

Welcome to you too Chris

It sure is. Just running out of space. All bookshelves are full. Now using the floors of my wardrobes. I had six months off teaching due to anxiety last year. Ended up volunteering at ..."
I hear you Chris! I've read probably less than ten books on my iPad kindle app. It's doable, but not my choice :)

I am a novelist from Brisbane. I have just published my seventh book, 'Cato's Prophecy', which is the third installment in the 'Strange Worlds' series.
Thanks for having me in this group. It looks brilliant. :-)
Welcome Brenda, great to have you with us. I see you have found our Author spotlight section..if you create your own thread there you can tell us about your work :)

Thank you Phrynne and Carolyn for the welcome! :)

My name is Neville- am almost 65, married with 2 daughters & 2 granddaughters. Originally from Adelaide, but moved to Victoria in 1986 for employment reasons. Now live in Pakenham (53 Kms SE of Melbourne). Have been an avid reader since I was a child. Now mainly reading crime, mystery, suspense thriller etc., but still have a go at other genres. Like a lot of Australian stories especially that include places I recognize.
I read John Marsden's series Tomorrow, when the war began in the last 2 years and enjoyed it very much.
I have 2 hours bus and train travel daily for work, so plenty of reading time -reading over 100 books a year.
I look forward to getting involved in discussions etc. and learning some new authors and books I haven't read yet, especially some Australian ones.

Welcome Neville. You've come to the right place if you're looking for recommendations of new Aussie authors and books to read!

I'm Sandi. I'm addicted to crime fiction in film and print, an avid reader (these days, largely of contemporary crime fiction across the sub genres) and a crime writer, with my first rural crime book published late last year. I live in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges in Victoria with my hubby and furry family and love it here. I've been meaning to pop in to say hi for a while but life gets crazy-busy, doesn't it?
Hope you're having a great weekend!

It sure is. Just running out of space. All bookshelves are full. Now using the floors of my wardrobes. I had six months off teaching due to anxiety last year. Ended up volunteering at the Lions Bookshop. Loved it but now I need a new house for my books from there. Grins.
Am not one for kindles... don't have the intimate feel of a book.
Cheers
