Hello Aussie Readers. I am Jocelyn and I live a wonderful, retired life in NE Tasmania with my book loving partner Di. We both have masses of books, but because of our remote location and lack of bookstores, we now download our books on Kindle. This is a good thing as we are living in an ex-church with limited storage and far too many books as it is. We have noticed that all the books lining the walls are great insulation in the cold weather.
I have set 100 books as my target for 2015 and I am currently reading book 3, War Brides by Helen Bryan. I am happy to have found an Australian group here on Goodreads.

Hi Julie. Thanks for the welcome. Yes I will post my current reading items if I can find the right discussion link. I have a lot of books unread on my kindle, as Di and I have different tastes in books. She reads everything and I read carefully selected books. I like happy, or should I say suitable endings. I have had enough drama in my life, lol! The first book I read this year was The Sleeper and the Spindle which I borrowed from the neighbor's 9 year old daughter. She was struggling with the tiny print. I was enchanted with both the story and the illustrations. Expect to find books written for young readers on my shelves.

Hi everyone my name is Suezanne and I am very new to good reads. I am a working mother of three and love to spend time with my family and our animals on our small farm in central Victoria.
I have set a goal to read 60 books for 2015 and would love any suggestions of how to track books I have read. I'm part of a book club that meets monthly and this has been great motivation to get back to reading and to expand on the types of books I read. Thanks!
