Hi everyone. I'm from Sydney but move around for work. I'm about to go on Christmas holidays and hope to get a lot more reading done. In January I am moving back to Melbourne and a more cruisy job, so I might even have the time to write the next Thorn Birds. Or more likely a derivative paranormal teen romance set in Gosford.

I am an avid reader from Lisbon, Portugal, and I moved to Sydney a year ago after meeting my Australian girlfriend while working in London.
I've slowly started reading some Australian, Tim Winton has become my favourite Aussie writer after reading The Turning (but I still haven't read any Peter Carey). Looking forward to finding out about more writers from this great country.

I'm living in Perth, Western Australia. Fairly new to goodreads so still exploring :) I moved to Perth a few years ago from NZ and loving it, a nice country you've got here ;)
Work in a science education/communication centre where I get to work with amazingly intelligent, creative and caring people and leave any pesky maturity levels at the door :D
Love reading (obviously) but don't get as much time to do it as I'd like. Having been pottering around with writing some kids books for the fun of it so spare time's a bit on the rare side, but it's all good. look forward to chatting with you all :) Adz
