Introduce yourselves!

Hi Luscinia, I'm from Sydney too, and have two girls around your age. It's sounds like you're an amazing reader, and you've had no problems picking up the English language - you sound well spoken and well read. Awesome! My girls are in year 6 and 7, so probably a bit younger than you.

this was a character in my dream i changed her name to bethany

Went through Thirroul last year on the way to Moruya - on the train line to Bombaderry - pretty area there. I think The Railwayman's Wife was based there?

I'd already read the Railwaymans Wife and didn't even know where Thirroul was until I saw it going past in the train. I really liked that I'd been through somewhere a book I'd read was based in. It made it more relevant to me

Welcome to GR Katie. You come from a lovely part of the world. We have a friend that lives at Mt Ousley. Best of luck with the writing. Ken.

Thanks Dale.

I am currently living in Perth, WA, but was born in Darwin and grew up in the small town of Katherine.
I love all types of books and I love group discussions, so I hope to join in where I can :)

Welcome to the group.
