My name is May and I've recently been made redundant. This is a positive in that for the first time in forty years I can chase my own interests. I've always been a reader , and collect anything about Errol Flynn and Bomber Command.

I enjoy book forums because they encourage me to embrace genres and authors whom don't usually appeal. This too is good stuff.

I love to travel, entertain, listen to music,and keep busy. Some idiot said I would be bored at home. Hardly ever home. Love it !

Hello, my name is Elisabeth. I am originally from Germany but have been an Aussie most of my life.
I live on the Gold Coast and love it here.
When I was a teenager I wrote my first poems but there have been long gaps when I didn't write.
Recently I published my first book on Amazon. It's about trekking the Himalayas when I was in my early fifties. The German Version should also be available in a few days.

Hi my name is Steve and I'm 48 years old. I spent my first twenty-three years in America and then came down to live in Sydney for five years before moving down to Melbourne. I grew up on a staple diet of comics and haven't outgrown them yet... my father, whose surname was Rogers, decided to name me after Captain America - Steve Rogers. LOL Andrew I arrived in Australia in 1970 as well. Not sure if I was a 10 pound Pom as was under 16 so think I was free loader!! My mum and Dad definatly were though.

My grandmother always encouraged reading and art, and since I can't even draw stick figures right, I've always been reading. I'm excited to discover all the Aussie authors and their marvellous works of literature! :)

Hi, I’m Fi and I’m addicted to reading YA and NA plus a range of other genres. Not crime though, it just freaks me out. I’m in my mid-thirties and live in the SEQ Hinterland. I’ve recently fallen in love with writing and am trying to share my love of books with my school students. I have a gorgeous three year old girl and an allergy to doing housework. I find that domestic chores really eat into my reading time so I avoid them as much as possible.
