It does"

Since that one will work will her other one Free-Range Knitter: The Yarn Harlot Writes Again work as well?

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) YAY, I will be reading either Yarn Harlot or Mao's Last Dancer. Both sound good to me.

It looks like some chapters of Free-Range Knitter: The Yarn Harlot Writes Again like chapter 4- "Left-Leaning Decreases: Stories about Women, Politics, Knitters, and Looking at Things a Different Way" move away from a work memoir and more into knitting essays.

Thank you for your time!

Casey | 70 comments It's similar to one already approved, but I wanted to double-check! Would The Lost Pet Chronicles: Adventures of A K-9 Cop Turned Pet Detective work?

El Will The Puzzle People: Memoirs Of A Transplant Surgeon work for this task? It's part autobiography, but also deals heavily with Starzl's work in transplantation.

Pam (pammylee76) | 49 comments I just finished listening to I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This!: And Other Things That Strike Me as Funny by Bob Newhart. The description doesn't really match the book. It was about 90% his career and 10% his personal life. Could I count this?

If the book centers on the hows and whys of his career as a comedian then it looks like it will work. If it is his musings on funny things he observes- then it wouldn't. Some of the reviews say that the book presents some of his comedy routines- if the book is a collection of those- then it might be off topic for this task- but if he talks about the development of the routines or the people/places involved then it might. Since you say the description doesn't reflect the content, and you think it does work, then please include some detail on how/why it works when you post.

Ashley FL | 721 comments How about Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook by Anthony Bourdain? From the description it is a history of his career, with attendant rants of people and things he's come into contact with on his travels.
