Doyle's "A Study in Scarlet" - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/54... - lists setting as: Iran, Islamic republic of. I think that's taking the sympathy with the poor people in Iran a step too far...

Can we put more than one location? It looks as though a significant part of the story might take place in Utah, U.S.

Thank you so much :) I was really confused when I added the book and saw Iran. Sherlock Holmes gets around - but Iran? O.o

ETA: And it's set in the United Kingdom.

I've seen (and corrected) quite a few books with a setting incorrectly stated as Iran. I think that somebody's being silly!

I think someone is confused, actually. It shows up on many books with Persian translations.

Ah, I hadn't noticed that Persian translations were involved. I will keep an eye out for that!
