[Rex]

This is the sign up sheet for Roleplay 6.

I'll start with my character.


Characters Full Name: Nola Hollow
Age: 14
DOB: October 31, 1996
Gender: Female

Looks: Nola is 5'3" and has always been slight, but, like most kids in the FAYZ, she is now almost unhealthily thin. She is very pale, with large black eyes, which always seem to have purple circles under them. She has very long black hair, which is thin and scraggly. Her hair is often in her face, which is sharply featured. She often appears stoic, but sometimes hints of sadness or frustration can be seen.

Personality: Nola has always been mature for her age and is keen to follow the rules. She tends to be stern and stoic, but has a wicked and sarcastic/sardonic sense of humor. When she does get emotional she is very intense and serious. She's can be cold and calculating, but this makes her great when it comes to plans and strategy. However due to this nature she has trouble making split second decisions or doing jobs where impulsive behavior is key. Nola is respectful of other's privacy and doesn't like it when people are nosy.

Power:Four bar. Ability to create and control ice. If water isn't around to convert she forms it from the humidity in the air, or, if desperate, from the water in her body. However if there is low humidity (say, if she's in the desert or surrounded by fire) or if she's dehydrated her powers can become compromised.

She can freeze anything within thirty feet of her solid (though it will take a few minutes, so she can't instantly freeze a person unless they just stand in place and don't move while she aims at them). She does this by manipulating streams of ice crystals that shoot from her palms, which then solidify. She can actually levitate small bits of ice (golf ball sized if round, and icicles up to six inches long) within fifteen feet.

*Important note: Nola will occasionally use ice daggers, but don't worry about projectile daggers. Yes, she can shoot icicles for fifteen feet, but unless she's in DIRECT contact with the ice it would just shatter upon hitting you. NOT impale you. Why? Because without her powers continuously fortifying the ice, it's just as flimsy as a regular icicle.

Weapons: None, will use powers for defense

History: Nola was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was, in fact, named after the abbreviated term for the city. (New Orleans, Louisianan= NOLA) Her mother was a successful surgeon and her father was a psychiatrist, but both rarely had time to pay attention to their daughter and were rarely around. Nola was taken care of by her nanny Carmen, an older woman from Mexico. Nola was very close to Carmen, who she called Nana, and learned a lot from the woman, including a bit of about Mexico and some Spanish, but when Nola was ten her parents divorced.

Nola's mother gained custody and moved her daughter from New Orleans to California to get away from her old life. Nola has lived in the FAYZ for the last four years. She resents her mother, who was often away at work in the hospital in Santa Barbra, and misses Carmen. If they ever get out of the FAYZ she plans to find away to move back to New Orleans with her father so she can see Carmen again. Nola has a faded New Orleans accent and some first aid knowledge gleaned off her mother.

Skills: Basic medical abilities. (Suturing, giving shots, bandaging, est.)

Full Name: Roya Wood
Age: 14
DOB: October 12, 1996 (My birthday, haha. -.-)
Gender: Female

Looks: Roya stands around 5'5", naturally she has an athletic body that had just begun to get it's curve--though since the FAYZ she's closer to looking like everyone else in the FAYZ, a toothpick. Roya has startling, stormy gray eyes, black, wavy hair that she hacks herself, and it falls a bit passed her chin. Her eyes have dark shadows under them, her cheeks are hollowed out, her skin once pale, but not as bad as some. Roya has a few faded, jagged scars coming some parts of her body, which she does best to keep hidden with her black hoodie she carries around. (Yes, a bit of Rose. The scars aren't from a tragic past though.) Roya's nose is straight, she has soft features, and her eyes usually betray her emotions easily. You could say she used to be beautiful, but time, starvation, dehydration, and mourning has worn her down.

Personality: Roya's personality differs from some in the FAYZ, more because she's on the optimistic side and refuses to give up hope on someday getting out of the FAYZ. She's kind, sweet, and extremely curious, though that sometimes gets the better of her. Roya's bold and doesn't mind speaking her mind--but that has gotten her into plenty of trouble before. On the down side, she's argumentative, stubborn, and usually thinks she's right. (Which she is, but not a know-it-all, more of informed.) She can be tough if needed, though she tries to keep herself as far away from drama as possible.

Power: Three Bar; Roya can heal bones--fractures, sprained, bruised, broken etc.

Weapons: Roya carries around her trusty dagger that she found lying outside a weapons shop under some rubble. (Not a smart idea to have in the FAYZ.) The handle is black marble patterned into a twist, a silver hilt, (both of the ends just as sharp as the tip.) and the rest is about 3" inches long of metal. Roya usually keeps it tucked into a leather belt she wears around her waist.


Skills: Specialty in hot-wiring cars & driving them, Roya's also a very fast runner, learner, and good at keeping extremely quiet. And of course she's handy with her dagger.

History: Roya's lived in almost every state in the United States, to be exact, 39. So you could say she get's around, and very wise when it comes to different things, thus is adaptable, which also came in handy when the FAYZ happened. Mother, long gone at the age of two, Roya never questioned her single father about her, as she greatly resented her mom for leaving her dorky, sweet Dad. Roya & her father were close, like best friends, and he always did his best to make a better living for him and his daughter, and Roya knew that.

It's always been tough, seeing as he dropped out of high school in his Senior Year to marry Marie (Roya's mom.) and most good paying jobs require some type of college diploma--it was always difficult for him to get money. So wherever was cheap, or at least convenient, or even a job that offered more pay, Roya and her dad set off.
Roya never minded really because traveling excited her; it brought up an adventure; long road trips with her dad. Roya was always quick to make friends, and quick to leave them but managed with a few to keep in touch with letters or PrePaid texting on a cellphone her dad could barely afford to get, but did.

Perdido Beach, California was Roya's 39th state, a place where her dad promised her a better life for sure this time. But, as usual his promise faltered and instead of moving again, she ended up trapped in the FAYZ, not able to leave state even if she wanted to.

Full Name: Penelope Falls
Age: 14
DOB: July 14, 1996

Looks: Penelope stands at a very short 5'1''. She's always been sturdy and has had meat on her bones. With her powers, she had been feeding herself more than other kids have been, but she still has lost weight due to hunger and starvation. Due to sleepless nights and overwhelming stress, Penelope's bright blue eyes have faded and are always tired. Her curly black hair is almost always in a knot at the nape of her neck, as she doesn't care how she looks to others (although she and her brother never see anyone, since they are rather hermitish). A long, jagged scar runs from the side of her mouth to her ear, causing Penelope's smile to be uneven and a bit disturbing.

Personality: Penelope is rarely happy. She barely remembers the days when she was smiling and just genuinely in a good mood. Although, she didn't have a lot of those in the good days either. She's messed up, and she knows it. The only person who can make her be herself is her little brother Paul, who is all she has left of her family. She has a dry sense of humor and usually is the cause for awkward silences. She knows people stare at her face, which is why she keeps to herself. She would kill if it meant the protection of her and her own, no questions asked. Deep down, there is a ghost of a girl she used to be; Funny, loving, optimistic. It's hidden behind all her sorrow and hate, and someone just needs to dig it out for her.

Power: Three bar; Penelope shifts into animals, and she is able to speak to the ones who can't already speak (i.e coyotes). She can control when and what she Changes into, and how far it goes (half-Change or full-Change).

Skills: Due to her animal-changing abilities, Penelope's sight, hearing, sense of smell, and strength has enhanced well past a humans'(Even if she is bite-sized.) She doesn't need weapons, when she is one, depending on her form. When she Changes, her clothes meld into her body, allowing her to wear the same thing without fear of it being ripped to shreds.

History: For Penelope and Paul, the FAYZ was bittersweet. Away from the abusive father they had, to a world where kids kill each other every other day. Penelope had always been known as the short girl, but never had close friends. She couldn't let anyone get close; how to explain why no one could come to her house? Her father had always been verbally abusive, and only hit sometimes. But he was always sorry after, and he let her know how much he loved her.

A few weeks before the FAYZ walls came down, Penelope and Paul's mother was strangled to death by their father -and Penelope watched. Just before the murder, Penelope's father had taken a knife to the side of her face, whispering "Daddy's mark."

Here in the FAYZ, Penelope focuses on hunting and taking care of Paulie -the one thing left she has to live for.

Name: Cade Rosewood
Age: 14
DOB: March 6, 1996
Gender: Male

Looks: Cade is about 5'8", he has a lean but athletic build with medium-length black hair and olive-tanned skin. He has light green eyes with a hint of blue in them. He has dark circles under his eyes from exhaustion. He is starting to look like the average kid in the fayz. He is getting skinnier as time goes on, although he isnt nearly as bad as some of the others.

Personality: Cade is very confused at the whole fayz thing. He knows its not possible, theres no way. But yet it happened, and his mind is saying theres no way out, but he has some weird feeling there is. He is an optimistic person, always happy. He is proud of who he is, and doesnt care what people think. He doesnt like attention on him so he keeps to himself, and stays at his house most of the time. He also stays at his house cause if hes near people he feels the need to fight somebody. He feels the need to take his anger out on someone. He has a new found anger towards whoever did this.

Power: 3 bar; Cade has control over plants. He can grown any plants just by thinking about it. He can grow vines and make them move in sync with his hands. Although the vines arent too strong and any sharp object can break it He has tried to grow food, but no luck. He can grow the plant, tree, vine, stem, etc. but the food part never comes out. The one time he tried his hardest he fainted, but anything else he can grow with ease.

Weapon: Cade doesnt carry any normal weapons. He uses his powers to grow vines and he uses those like extensions of his arms.

History: Before the fayz he had a good life. His parents owned a family doctors office just outside of perdidio beach. He got mostly anything he wanted. He was a good kid and never really got in trouble. He had an older brother named John. He was the typical brother. He looked out for him, but at the same time always picked on him. He had a couple of good friends. Which was all he needed, he liked being alone. A few days before the fayz, his parents came home and told him and his brother about this little kid that died at their office today. They gave them that speech about cherishing what and who they had cause it could all be taken away really fast. Ironic how three days later his whole family dissapeared.

Tora is the younger sister of sora. She has the power to make things the size of a computer screen explode just by looking at the object. she can only make objects explode. she can also make things put themselves back together but only objects. She is a three bar. She didn't cause trouble at her old school but but when her evil parnets shipped her borhter to their aunts place they decided to get rid of her too. Her aunt cares about them unlike her parents that beat her daily. She wne to the same school as her brother soraand they where in the same class too. Tora had skipped a grade so she and her brother where both in the same grade.

Power level: 3 bar. i already explained her power above.

personality: She keeps to herself and really only talks to her brother when she is upset Sora is the only one that can make her feel better. She is a trobled child she has an attention problem and her brother helps her as best as he can but she is a little depressed because of every thing her parents did to her.

When the fayz comes along she is realy confused and just can't handle whats going on and all the bullies that pick on her fro her problem just makes it worse. her brother is the only one who has ever stood up for her.

When she was 9 she was about 2'4" so her parents had the doctors drug her so she would grow really tall that is why she is so tall Same thing with her bro sora. they where just born very small there are no side effects that are known right now

HE has long red hair and blue eyes he is 7 ft tall/ he is skinny nandhas freckles on his cheeks

when he lived with his parents he always tried to protect Tora btu he also drank and when his abusive parents found out they used it as and excuse to get rid of him and his siter tora. He and tora are in the same grade and look a lot alike except for the hair and eyes.

Personality: Sora isn't shy and he cares a lot about his sister Tora he is a caring perosn and protects Tora and whoever else needs it during the fayz. He doesn't really have any friends at school.

When ht e fayz comes along He is devoted to protecting tora and those in need. eventually when he is searching his aunts house he finds some ninja stars and a sword that he keeps for protection. He easily cheers Tora up when she needs it.

Rin, come on, there's no reason for them to be that tall. It's clearly not apart of their powers. Sora doesn't even have powers.

6'3" and 6'1"? Understandable, some kids really are that tall. But bordering on seven feet? That's excessive. And why are Tora's eyes red? Does she wear contacts? Or are they apart of her power?

Age: 14
Hair: Bald
Height: 6'3
Gender: Male

Long term sufferer of cancer,he is bald due to chemotherapy. Is smart enough to be able to mix his chemo concoctions... the cancer was on the verge of being killed before the Fayz. He used to be a sportsman and body builder so he is quite broad and muscular. Feels protective over people younger or weaker than him and would easily beat up some punk trying to mug someone.

Powers: When enraged his attacks do three times the damage than they normally would.... and his original punches were pretty hard anyway. He also can withstand hard blows to his body, e.g. a building falling on him would cause a bit of harm, a car hitting at 50 little to none... would be different at 100 but that's how it is.

History: Parents were normal before chemo, until his father took to drink. His father would beat his mother, but hid it quite well as Aquila had toughened up as he reached 10 years old. When Aquila found out he beat the crap out of his father for the three years worth of beatings and his father left.
A couple of months later he discovered he had grade 4 testicular cancer, and his doctors had basically decided he was dead. However to Aquila's surprise his father fought hard to make sure his son would get treatment and supervised in secret for a couple of months until his mother revealed why he was getting treated. The day the Fayz happened he was going to meet his father for the first time in a year.

Due to Chemo he had lost weight and his muscle and bulk was gone, or lacking.

Characters Full Name: Laurel Autumn O'Denos
Age: 14
DOB: August 4, 1996.
Gender: Female

Looks: She is about 5'4", and has a slightly curvy body that she hates, and would rather have that stick-like figure that other girls complain about. She has lots of lean muscle, and is usually the strongest of all her friends, and her legs are especially strong from dance and bicycling. She is usually pretty graceful, and very well coordinated, but when she's nervous or in front of new people, she tends to get very clumsy and fumbly.

She has long, thick (yet it doesn't ever get dry, in fact she has to wash it every day or it gets dirty) and wavy mid-back length dark blonde hair that in reality should be a sort of light brown if it weren't for all her hours in the sun that brought out all sorts of light blondes, strawberry blondes, ash blondes, and many other shades, with side bangs, and likes to use a different hairclip every day. Her eyes are a light brown, almost hazel color with flecks of green and gold in them. In certain lighting, they can seem orange. She likes to wear purple contacts for fun sometimes.
Her skin is a very fair color, and she has the occasional small birthmark dotting her inner arms, and a couple of freckles on her nose. In places (her feet, and inner arms) her skin seems almost translucent and her blue veins show clearly.

Personality: She's one of those girls that makes friends everywhere she goes, but that's only because of her past. When she was younger, so young she doesn't even remember it, she was incredibly shy and made fun of, and so she had to learn to stand up for herself and become more outgoing. Which is why she's the girl that although she isn't popular, no one insults her or her friends.
She is kindhearted, and she feels a sense of satisfaction when she helps others, but at the same time she has a secret wonder of what it would be like to harm them. At times she can be naive, and a little self-centered when she goes through phases of high self-esteem, but otherwise, she has a lot of friends.

Power: Hm...(Weather, Empathy, Super Senses, Ninja-ness) Can't decide yet. Oh well.

Weapons: She has taken years of various martial arts, and has a sort of natural talent for escaping tricky situations, though not as much with plain beating up other people. She likes knives, but isn't great with them, but she loves and is fairly good at archery, although that won't come in handy in the Fayz.

History: She has lived in Perdido Beach her whole life, in a small house in the suburbs with her two parents, older brother, and various pets. She longs to get out, and travel, and have adventures, but as that won't be happening, she has to settle with her own imagination. Fairly average life.

Skills: Had a brief obsession with wilderness survival and first aid, and absorbed as much as she possibly could from that, also had an obsession with spy ish stuff, so she knows how to pick locks (although sometimes it takes her 10 minutes), and is a natural liar, although nobody pictures her as the lying type. Likes to practice walking completely silently for fun :)

I like Laurel. And as for powers? Hrm....she seems like she should have enhanced strength/agility, like a ninja. Like she should be able to jump real high, climb/scale anything, be good at gymnastics, and she should be really strong. Not super strong, like lifting boulders, but like being able to lift up to 300 pounds. Like a really strong body builder.

Age: 14

DOB: July 17, 1996

Gender: Female

Looks: Ash stands at an average height, 5'3", and has a defined hourglass figure. She used to be slender, but now she's abnormally skinny, but still lithe and somewhat muscular. She has an usual hair color, brownish blond with small white blond and amber streaks running through it, cascading down her back in gentle waves. She has larger, thickly lashed eyes that are the color of lapis lazuli. Her skin is lightly tanned but used to de even darker, before the Fayz, and she usually has a wry smile plastered on to her delicate looking face. She has fuller lips and a few freckles dotting her nose.

Personality: Ash had a biting and sarcastic sense of humor, and used it often. She's often found doing sports, swimming, soccer, track, or lacrosse, and is a skilled ballerina. Or at least she used to be. She's an avid reader, with her nose constantly in a book, escaping the morbid world in which she now lives in. She's a tomboy at heart, and loves climbing trees and catching frogs, or roughhousing. Even after the Fayz, she still does all the things she used to love, or at least as many as she can. She doesn't want to admit what happened, and that her parents are really gone, and her three older brothers. She still is a social butterfly, and is very good at being herself and brightening other's days. She popular in the way that she had many friends, not that she was a snobby, rich, brat. She's self confident, but not in the way that she's arrogant. She is very stubborn though, and can be quite the hothead. She's pretty smart, although not a genius, and uses it to her advantage.

Powers: Ash is a 3 bar, and has the power to walk in others dreams and thoughts, although most of the time she isn't sure who's she's in. She can't feel any pain

Weapons: She always is seen with her dagger, which she keep resting in a sheath on her thigh. Its blade is covered in a lethal poison. It was her fathers, and she found in the safe in her cellar. She doesn't know how he got it or why he had it, but she's glad he kept it.

History:Ash was born in Germany, and lived there until she was 6, so she has a soft, lilting German accent that displaces her boyish personality. She lived with her parents, three older brothers (Jack, Foster, and Mitch) and her twin brother, Zack. She never knew her Dad's job, she just knew it involved danger, fake ID'd, and moving around a lot. Her mother worked as a nurse, managing to get jobs as they moved around. She's lived all over the world, and when they came to Perdido Beach to stay with Ash's aunt, her parents promised it would be the most permeant situation they'd ever be in.

I was sitting around today thinking and missing about the roleplay since I wasn't able to get on, and I thought of Roya and realized Mila Kunis was SORT of who I pictured as her. Looks: Naturally tall for his age, standing around 5'11", he has an athletic build--but very lean and a bit on the scrawny side. Over-grown straight black hair, dark milk-chocolate skin. Round face, prominent jaw line, and his teeth are a bit crooked. Surprisingly, he has wicked ice blue eyes, it's an odd feature for his looks. Leon has his own infamous 'cocky, sarcastic' smirk played on his face, but his glare is deep and intimidating. He's not goth, but his usual fashion style usually includes black and chunky combat boots that are a size too big. (His father's.)

Personality: Even though he appears rough on the outside, considering his appearance, he's actually a pretty nice guy. Not really much of an arguer, but he's extremely logical and takes plenty of time to think before he acts. A lone wolf, mainly because even though he longs for friends, he finds a lot of people are too dramatic and annoying to even bother with. He's mexican, and on occasion speaks in spanish for the hell of it--that's usually his humor. He's smart, but people don't really see it instantly. Leon's temper is short, and sometimes he trusts people too easily, and that's not always a good thing.


Power: 2 Bar; Leon has epic eye sight; hence his exotic eye color. He can't see through stuff, he just has amazing vision. For instance, he can see to up about 1/2 a mile away, or dust on someones shirt, etc. (Not that special of a power, lol.)

Weapons: Hand to hand combat, mostly. Leon hasn't really felt the need to feel protected, as long as he doesn't stir up trouble.

History: Leon's always lived in Perdido Beach, California up in the suburbs area with his foster parents. He was taken away by DCF as a small child, doesn't remember much of that childhood--nor does he want to. He loves his foster parents, has a great relationship with both and his younger sister Emmy.

There's not much to say about Leon, except in the FAYZ he's constantly trying to find ways and tactics to get out. He has many theories, logical of course.

Hmmm....As much as I adore Leon's character, I'd really only place him at 2 bar.....unless he abruptly develops the ability to shoot lasers out of his eye....Which in case he's gain the status of "Epic AND Kick Ass" for having a badass power.
