Aug 22nd Read-A-Thon

and are up next for me. I'm not too sure how I will like the second book.. I may end up scratching it if it's terrible.

I'm just checking in. I'm taking a break to eat. Its been a long day but I'm in for the duration. Right about now my husband is shaking his head and asking why anyone would do this. Of course he doesn't read so he'll never understand. lol I'm still working on my 2nd book but I'm almost done.

lol I'm getting a little tired as well. I'm not sure how long I will read for. But really, how often do you get this opportunity to literally read ALL day. I'm feeling compelled to push on to the next book.

After dinner I read a book that was pretty short, so I feel more accomplished. Now I think I'm going to switch genres and read a non paranormal.

Ya, I think starting a different book or genre might give you a second wind.

I am now 54% finished and I finished the audio for .....Okay so I feel like I am reading slower then usual.......

I hope you are enjoying the book Nichole! It looks like you are almost done with it.

I just finished . I gave it 5 stars, it was a fantastic book. But also not really for the faint of heart. There were a lot of graphic scenes. But I really would recommend it to anyone. It's told from the point of view of a woman who was abducted and held against her will by a freak. The story unfolds in the present as she looks back at what happened and tells her therapist. The story in the present is about how she is dealing with being home after the abduction. It was really terrific.

I only 85% finished....I got distracted with my reading when my husband started watching True Blood......I ended up reading the same page for 20min.....book is almost finished and really good I will definitely be giving the second book in the series a try

I would have been distracted too, I have to read without music or tv or I would never finish a book.

I did about 15 hours today, I'm going to pick up the marathon tomorrow and finish out what I can.

I just finished . I can't believe that I only finished 2 books in 24 hours. lol It was fun but I have to say I don't think I will do it again any time soon. I'm definitely tired and glad to see the end. lol Thanks to all the girls that participated today. Having the breaks to chat a little was a very good thing.

I'm going to start Part Deux of my read-a-thon today. I'm probably only going to go until about 12:00 or so.

This morning I finished off which I started last night. Not so impressed with it. And Grace is pissing me off.

And then I started which is a HR.

And hereee wee gooo!

So I only read for about 2 hours this morning.. I'm almost finished with ransom. But will pick up the rest of my read-a-thon tonight. I'll finish around 11:00 and then that will be it for me.

Loved the first and last, but Fantasy Lover got on my nerves with all the repetitive writing. Still a fun read though. I'll definitely be continuing each series!

You finally got to the Frost books!!! YES!! I'm so happy I could just cry lol.

Fantasy Lover was one of the weaker books in Kenyon's series, if you liked that one then you will definitely like the rest. I would suggest going through the library though otherwise you will be spending about 80 bucks to get them all, if not more!
