Lefty here. Did I ever mention that more than half of the psychiatric department at our med school is left handed? It's true. :)

I also don't mind Friday the 13th... they're usually interesting and fun for me. Then again, Fridays in general are typically interesting and fun.

Actually, I usually have very lucky Friday the 13ths since it's one of my fav numbers. My week has sucked rocks so I'm really hoping tomorrow makes up for it. :)

I also tend to think that Friday 13th might be much more surprising than other days. It is nice to have it:)
And each Friday brings us weekend, time to have fun and get rest after 5 days of work. It would be rude not to appreciate it's value:))

Today was insanely busy making a guitar cake for my daughter's 9th bday, but actually a pretty good day. And, Monika, you are sooooo right about Fridays. They are sacred and mustn't ever be taken for granted! :)

Carol, thanks to my mum I also cut with my right hand, with my left hand I do it clumsily. What a shame! I work in a primary school and children like to judge if I cut straight enough or not;)

All these lefties here! No wonder I feel so at home here. I'm a lefty too. We rule! Although, I can use a regular can opening and scissors with my left hand. I believe that is because I had a lefty mother.

So, the question to all lefties is: How lefty are you? I'm so much a lefty I can't even drive a stick. I just started using the computer mouse left-handed, though that was more due to the beginnings of tendonitis in my right hand. On the other hand (pun intended!) my husband is writes and eats left handed but he does mostly everything like a righty. I don't think he's in his right mind. :-D

Well, I think I learned to use righty scissors because there was usually just one pair in elementary school classes. I broke my right pinkie finger in kindergarten, which led to more left-handed tendencies. I can use either hand for most things - wall painting, feeble attempts at sports. A friend's mom said she was "unstirring" the food because she mixed the wrong way!

I'm a freak.

I write, eat, and use screwdrivers, wrenches, saws, and hammers with my left hand, throw, bat, kick a football or soccer ball, bowl, shoot a puck, and use scissors with my right. I don't have any problems with a stick shift.

I think I'd have a problem with a stick shift no matter what. It's the two hand coordination or something. I do drive with both feet, and insist it's because I'm left-handed and misunderstood by society.
