Karen My daughter, now 21, has been collecting MLP since she was 5. There's a large Rubbermaid container in our basement containing, I've lost count of how many MLP and their accessories. She has them named, categorized and dated, no labels required.

She's now in arts school but would be ecstatic to know of this book. I wonder if I won this if you could ship it in time for her birthday. Fiddles I'd have to mail it, but still, what a delight. Can't wait to see the book.

Hillary DePiano Depending on how old your daughter is, she probably needs the G1 guide. This book is a guide to the second generation which covers ponies from 1997 to 2003. The book that covers pre-1997 is labeled G1 (same author if you want to look it up on Goodreads).

G2 were only in limited release in the USA so its unlikely she would have tupperwares full of them which is what makes me think you are taking about G1s.

Karen I think you are right. Most of hers are the "fat" (excuse me... there's probably better lingo) type, though she does have some of the other. Many of hers were garage sale/thrift store finds, and I do keep an eye out for the occasional one that's in good condition.

I don't live in the USA.

Hillary DePiano Well if you look on Amazon at Summer Hayes' G1 book, it lets you read the first few pages so it should give you an idea if it fits your needs.
