help me find this book, please!!

I spent a long time yesterday seeking out my future to-read books, and read a ton of synopsis. I marked a whack load but missed one, and it's the one I want to start!

this what I remember of the synopsis:
heroine is a DA, who is an 'other' but who keeps that a secret, tamping down her natural instincts. but she's being stalked (or something). so she hires the hero as a bodyguard, or investigator, or something. I think he's firmly in the 'other' camp.
