Part of the idea with Wracked was to establish a story and to write in such a way that it seemed like a TV show or movie. Mostly because I plan to write this as a series, and I wanted each book to feel like an hour long episode with each one building on the other.
It was challenging for me to write the book from the main character's perspective alone, but it seemed to make the most sense since you only see his dreams and no one else's. In addition, I wanted the other characters to feel alien or maybe even a little stiff, as we are only seeing them from his perspective.
I am currently working on the follow up to Wracked, which will pick up the story exactly where the first one left off. I even have a short story (which I may include either with the follow up, or somewhere else) that brings another thread into the overall story from a completely different person.

Overall, I hope you enjoy the story.
