How to use this folder

We have a year to wait for the fourth Downside Ghosts novel to come out. While we hope some of the upcoming discussions and re-reading sections of the published books will help get you by, we're not crazy.

Use this folder to share suggestions of great books Downside fans would also enjoy.

Great idea Chelsea. I have a lot of recommends, but, for now I'll mention the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. Awesome characters, great banter, sexual tension like crazy! There are currently 4 books and each book gets better than the previous one! You will love Curran!!

I agree, Bells. I found the two series have the same feel, if you know what I mean.

My fave ever is Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs.
I have heard so much about Kate Daniels and The Fever series that those two will be my next reads.

Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews and the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris and Mercy Thompson are 4 of my all time favourites.

Also, has everyone read Stacia's other series, the Megan Chase trilogy? It is just as fantastic as Downside, in a much lighter way.

And can't recommend too highly Cassandra Palmer series by Karen Chance, Jane True by Nicole Peeler, Guild Hunters by Nalini Singh, Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger, October Daye by Seanan McGuire, of course the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward is a given ...

I have been very lucky this past 18 months to have joined an author's site and found a bunch of people with the BEST taste :D I have gotten 95% of the brilliant books above and MANY more from their recommendations.

I don't think that anyone has mentioned the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead, starting with Succubus Blues. It is great.

I read the first book in the Fever series, and couldn't get into it. But since everyone recommends it I will give the second book a try.

The first book is hard to get through. But trust me Michelle, it gets better and by the time you get to Magic Bleeds, you are going to want to slap yourself for putting book 1 down. LOL!
